rlm@2: Sailor moon doesnt belong to me obviously it belongs to Naoko Takeuchi ^.~ rlm@2: rlm@2: rlm@2: rlm@2: rlm@2: rlm@2: Sunrise rlm@2: By: Obscure Sapphire rlm@2: rlm@2: Rini stood on Hotaru's front porch. It was very early, the sun was only just rlm@2: beginning to rise, coloring the clouds pink and purple. Pink the color of her rlm@2: own hair, Purple the color of her best friend's eyes. rlm@2: rlm@2: It had been a long time since she had seen her, hadn't seen her in fact since rlm@2: she was a small baby after the incident with Mistress 9. Shivering slightly in rlm@2: the cold breeze Rini slipped around the side of the house and peered into rlm@2: Hotaru's bedroom window. It was softly lit on the inside by many delicate lamps, rlm@2: and she could see her lying in her bed. rlm@2: rlm@2: It startled her for a moment to find that they looked the same age now. She rlm@2: herself hadn't grown for many centuries, it had been easy to forget the passing rlm@2: of time. 'Will she even remember me? Does she remember what happened?' rlm@2: rlm@2: She sat down on the dew-soaked grass, her knees drawing up to her chest. She rlm@2: felt horribly selfish. On the one hand she hoped that Hotaru remembered none of rlm@2: it, it was a terrible time in her life and she had been given a second chance. rlm@2: But. She also wanted to be able to talk to her about it. To tell her that she rlm@2: understood the pain that those memories would have elicited because she felt the rlm@2: same kind of pain every day of her life. rlm@2: rlm@2: As Wicked Lady she had done horrible things. She had hurt her friends. Had tried rlm@2: to kill Sailor Moon who was in fact her own mother. Her mother, who was the most rlm@2: important person in her life had almost died because of her, even if she was rlm@2: being controlled by someone else, she felt responsible. rlm@2: rlm@2: No one else understood. How could they? The only person who might possibly rlm@2: understand was peacefully sleeping a few feet away. rlm@2: rlm@2: Rini sat there for a very long time. Eventually, as the sun blazed fully in the rlm@2: sky and the house at her back came to life, she wondered if Serena was awake and rlm@2: wondering where she was. Finally she gathered her courage and stood up, brushing rlm@2: bits of wet grass from her bottom. Very slowly, she made her way back around to rlm@2: the front door and made herself ring the doorbell. rlm@2: rlm@2: Hotaru opened the door, clad in a pale lavender nightgown and looking slightly rlm@2: rumpled. The two girls stared at one another, amethyst eyes staring into rose rlm@2: quartz. As one, they moved to embrace each other. They were best friends again, rlm@2: withought a word being spoken, and they always would be. No matter how much time rlm@2: passed, through earth and heavan, nothing would keep them apart. rlm@2: rlm@2: rlm@2: rlm@2: please please please review. rlm@2: Review Story ( be a responsible reader and write a review) rlm@2: Title: Sunrise rlm@2: Name: rlm@2: Email: (optional) rlm@2: Review: rlm@2: rlm@2: rlm@2: rlm@2: If you feel that this entry violates any of the guidelines set by FanFiction.Net rlm@2: please click here to notify the staff. rlm@2: rlm@2: Home | About Us | Terms of Service | Browser Compatibility | rlm@2: Privacy rlm@2: rlm@2:
