rlm@2:               Not even the Mistress of the Clow could raise the dead.

rlm@2:               It would've been easy to shield herself from the elements, but she preferred 
rlm@2:               not to.  A simple umbrella was all that prvented her from being completely 
rlm@2:               drenched.

rlm@2:               "Sakura-chan."  Tomoyo stood by her side, unattended by her cadre of 
rlm@2:               bodyguards.

rlm@2:               "Please, leave me alone, Tomoyo-chan.  I need to do this by myself."

rlm@2:               "I know that the two of you were happy together--but you shouldn't throw

rlm@2:               Sakura froze as she finally heard her body screaming for sustenance.

rlm@2:               She turned and looked at Tomoyo nearly in tears herself.  Her eyes were

rlm@2:               "To...Tomoyo-chan...  I didn't mean--" Sakura choked on her own tears "--all 
rlm@2:               this time, I didn't know.  Please believe me."

rlm@2:               "I'd always hoped that you would see how I loved you someday, but I didn't 
rlm@2:               want it to be like this."

rlm@2:               The raven-haired heiress paused as the downpour began to ebb.

rlm@2:               "Sometimes it seems like there's no hope in sight, but then something 
rlm@2:               wonderfully unexpected happens."

rlm@2:               "I was happy, too--happy for you.  At least I tried to be.  I knew I could

rlm@2:               Golden rays of light caressed their rain-soaked and weary bodies.

rlm@2:               Tomoyo's warmth far exceeded the Sun's as Sakura lay with her head upon her 
rlm@2:               best friend and newfound-lover's bosom.
