rlm@2: A silly, one-shot ficsnip that I wrote as a Valentine's Day gift for Meghan/Suppi-chan. rlm@2: ^_- rlm@2: rlm@2: rlm@2: -- rlm@2: rlm@2: _The Gift That Keeps On Giving_ rlm@2: rlm@2: Author: Catsy (nekojita@ayashi.net) rlm@2: Content: silly, mild sexual suggestiveness rlm@2: rlm@2: -- rlm@2: "Hiiragizawa-kun," Tomoyo scolded, returning Eriol's selection to the wall rlm@2: rack, "you're impossible. Why can't we just get her chocolate, like rlm@2: everyone else?" rlm@2: rlm@2: Eriol favored Tomoyo with that special smile he reserved for those times rlm@2: when he was planning something genuinely diabolical and therefore needed to rlm@2: look as innocent as possible. "Not impossible, Tomoyo-san. Merely rlm@2: difficult. Everyone gives chocolate on Valentine's Day in Japan--wouldn't rlm@2: you rather do something special for Sakura-san?" rlm@2: rlm@2: Eriol knew it to be a mistake the moment he said it. As soon as the word rlm@2: /Sakura/ passed his lips, Tomoyo once again got that far-off look of rlm@2: orgasmic pleasure that meant she was visualizing Sakura in something rlm@2: frilly, handmade, and probably better left at Victoria's Secret if it rlm@2: weren't fitted for a teenager. rlm@2: rlm@2: Sure enough, Tomoyo whirled and clasped her hands together, declaring, rlm@2: "Before, when she was capturing and mastering the Clow Cards, there were so rlm@2: many different outfits I could've made for her! Why, there was this one I rlm@2: made that one year--" rlm@2: rlm@2: Eriol waited for Tomoyo's gushing description to end, a patient and rlm@2: indulgent smile on his face. "And now that it's long over," he said in an rlm@2: attempt to steer the conversation back on track, "what should we get her?" rlm@2: rlm@2: Tomoyo tapped thoughtfully at her chin, looking around the store. "I don't rlm@2: know," she said with such despair that she sounded as if she were rlm@2: confessing to a double-murder. "The problem is, anything we buy her will rlm@2: just embarass her." rlm@2: rlm@2: "Undoubtedly," he agreed cheerfully. "So then, what about this one?" rlm@2: rlm@2: Tomoyo shook her head firmly. "Too plain. It would never do for her." rlm@2: rlm@2: "And this?" rlm@2: rlm@2: Another shake, side-to-side. "No, that shade of green is wrong for her. rlm@2: What about this?" rlm@2: rlm@2: Eriol halted in his tracks for a moment, thinking. "No," he said after a rlm@2: brief pause. "We're on the right track, but it's too glittery." rlm@2: rlm@2: "But Sakura-chan /likes/ glitter!" Tomoyo protested. rlm@2: rlm@2: "Oh yes," Eriol said with a winning smile. "But I think perhaps this is rlm@2: the wrong occasion. On the other hand..." His eyes wandered over to another rlm@2: section of the store. Tomoyo immediately saw what he'd spotted, and her rlm@2: eyes glazed over. "Oh, that's perfect! Absolutely /perfect!/ rlm@2: Hiiragizawa-kun, we absolutely have to get that for her, it's just the rlm@2: right shade of pink, and she will completely /die/ over it!" rlm@2: rlm@2: Eriol winced at the volume of Tomoyo's voice, and hooked his arm in hers rlm@2: to guide her in the right direction. It took some work, since she was busy rlm@2: bouncing up and down and generally attracting attention with her rlm@2: exclamations. Laughing gently, he picked up the item in question, and rlm@2: turned it on. It gave off faint buzz, which died after a few seconds. rlm@2: "We'll have to buy batteries, of course." rlm@2: rlm@2: "Oh, don't you worry about that," Tomoyo said with the gleam of rapture in rlm@2: her eyes. "I have plenty of those."
