rlm@0: A/N- Let's see I think this is the last person that I need add into rlm@0: this story eheheh, Momo's name will be Layla in the story. Enjoy the rlm@0: this chapter ehehe- Black Rose rlm@0: rlm@0: Ra's Daughters rlm@0: By Black Rose rlm@0: rlm@0: Chapter Five rlm@0: The Heart of Ra rlm@0: rlm@0: rlm@0: As Nakia and Ramla walked up to Ramla's mother they bowed and smiled rlm@0: at her. rlm@0: "Well, this Phoenix showed me everything so I knew what is going rlm@0: on," she told them with a kind smile. rlm@0: "What is your name, young lady?" she asked, looking at the black rlm@0: haired girl who stood next to her daughter. Ramla looked over to her rlm@0: new friend and saw fear in Nakia's eyes, so she took her friends hand rlm@0: in her own. rlm@0: Nakia didn't know what do say, she couldn't tell if she was coming rlm@0: or going. She then felt someone take her hand and a sudden clam came rlm@0: over her. She turned her head a little and saw Ramla smiling at her. rlm@0: Nakia smiled slightly in return and nodded to her, then she looked rlm@0: back to the Queen and saw her smiling in the same way her daughter rlm@0: had been. rlm@0: "My name is Nakia, it's nice to meet you," she said with a little rlm@0: bow to the Queen. rlm@0: "It's nice to meet you Nakia, I'm Queen Neith," she said as she rlm@0: stood up and - to Nakia's surprise - embracing the dark haired girl. rlm@0: As Neith let go of Nakia, she whispered in her ear,"Take care of rlm@0: her, she'll need you, and from what it looks you need her too." rlm@0: As the Queen laughed slightly when she saw how red the girl's pale rlm@0: face had become. The Queen walked over to her daughter and hugged her rlm@0: as well: then whispered, "Ramla, no madder what your father says, rlm@0: she needs to stay here with you; take care of her." She smiled at the rlm@0: two and walked back into the room, where she stopped and called back rlm@0: to them: "Oh, don't let your father or the dratted priest see you two rlm@0: holding hands, even if I don't mind." rlm@0: Ramla and Nakia looked at one another, then at their hands, and then rlm@0: back to each other. They let go of each other's hand and started to rlm@0: blush again. Sanura watched them, and smiled slightly. rlm@0: "Very nice Ra, very nice, I can't wait to see we're your going with rlm@0: this," she thought. "Come on you two, it looks like the rains going rlm@0: too started again," Sanura told them while walking into the room. rlm@0: Ramla and Nakia nodded, walked in and saw Neith sitting down on a rlm@0: chair petting the Phoenix. rlm@0: Sanura walked up to her Queen and bowed to her. rlm@0: "I'm sorry my Queen I forgot to intruduce myself: I am Sanura, a rlm@0: priestess of Goddess Selkhet." rlm@0: Her Queen smiled and nodded. She looked over to her daughter and rlm@0: Nakia, who had just come in. They walked over to the other chairs and rlm@0: sat down, while Sanura walked over to the bed and sat down on it. rlm@0: "Layla, could you bring some water and food for my daughter's rlm@0: friend?" she asked the queen to someone out side the other door way. rlm@0: A young woman in her teens walked in. She had on a nice looking rlm@0: dress, and had purple hair pulled back in a bun, though strands still rlm@0: flew loose around her face. She walked over to her queen and bowed, rlm@0: and then looked around the room. When she saw Sanura, her heart rlm@0: jumped. rlm@0: Sanura felt someone watching; she turned and saw the young woman the rlm@0: queen had called for looking at her. rlm@0: "Is there something wrong?" Sanura asked looking back with a smile. rlm@0: Layla blushed, shook her head and left to get food and water for them. rlm@0: The rain out side started to come down hard. The wind was picking rlm@0: up. Sanura walked over to the windows in the room and closed them. rlm@0: She turned around and saw that everyone else wore glazed expressions rlm@0: on their faces as they sat still and deep in thought. She then rlm@0: walked back to her seat and waited, though what she was waiting for rlm@0: she did not know. rlm@0: ******* rlm@0: While Layla was walking to kitchen, her mind kept going to back to rlm@0: the priestess. rlm@0: "Why is my heart beating so hard? What is going on with me?" she rlm@0: spoke to thin air, wondering if anyone would answer: of course no rlm@0: answer came, so Layla was left wondering and slightly scared. rlm@0: She walked very slowly into the kitchen. Her head was spinning: she rlm@0: was about to fall but someone caught her before she hit the ground. rlm@0: She turned her head to see the High Priest of the god Anubis. He rlm@0: smiled maliciously at her and thrust her away from him as though she rlm@0: was a poisonous spider or something else that may have contaminated rlm@0: him. rlm@0: "Well, what do we have here, a little slave all by her self," he rlm@0: hissed in a venom-laced voice. Layla felt a pang of horror in her rlm@0: chest as she saw his eyes turn black as obsidian and start to glow. rlm@0: Flashes of her mother being beaten by the same man in front of her rlm@0: swam through her mind. Layla saw her mother give her life for her rlm@0: when he had tried to kill her; she was about four years old at the rlm@0: time. Layla fell to the floor, clutching her head and trying rlm@0: desparately to get the images out of her mind. rlm@0: "Stop it! Please stop it! Make it stop!" she pleaded to him, tears rlm@0: running down her face. He just smiled evilly at her and kicked her rlm@0: over to the door. She lay there, holiding her brusided side and rlm@0: crying freely now. rlm@0: "I'll make it stop when you put this poison in the princess' new rlm@0: friend's water," came the reply. rlm@0: Layla wanted this flash to stop, but something in back of her head rlm@0: told her to hold on; help was on the way. She screamed as she saw her rlm@0: mother laying dead, her eyes lifeless, her corspe soaked in her own rlm@0: blood. rlm@0: The Priest was just enjoying the show as he put more images in to rlm@0: Layla mind. What he didn't know was that a beautiful woman was rlm@0: watching the whole thing in the rain. Of course no one would have rlm@0: noticed her; it was as though she was part of the rain; you couldn't rlm@0: tell if she was there or not. Her eyes started to flash redder and rlm@0: redder until they had attained the hue of garnets. She had seen all rlm@0: she needed to: she disappeared. rlm@0: ****** rlm@0: She appeared in Ra's Throne room and saw her husband sitting on his rlm@0: throne with his eyes closed. She knew that his plan was already in rlm@0: motion, but what she had seen told her that she needed to stop it, rlm@0: regardles of her husband's wishes. rlm@0: "Anubis!" she yelled, walked over to her throne, and sat down. Ra rlm@0: opened his eyes to see a very angry wife sitting next him. He knew rlm@0: what had happened and had already sent a message to his phoenix. rlm@0: Things were moving faster then he hoped, but nevertheless he was rlm@0: confident that his plan would work. rlm@0: The Great door opened and in walked the god Anubis. He bowed to them rlm@0: and waited to to hear why he had been summoned. rlm@0: "Anubis, could you tell me why your High Priest is trying to kill rlm@0: Nakia?" asked Selket with anger in her voice. Ra didn't say a thing: rlm@0: he just waited to what his son said. rlm@0: "I have just seen what was happening, and was about to do something rlm@0: about it," came the swift reply. "But, you must have known that he rlm@0: has been doing this for years now, and I can't see why you would stop rlm@0: him now of all times, because of one pathetic human." rlm@0: Selket's eyes flashed red. "Anubis, be careful what you say, I love rlm@0: all of my daughters, and will care for them always; what your Priest rlm@0: did to that girl's mother was wrong: so I blanked out the memory from rlm@0: her mind so that she would never have to feel that again, and then rlm@0: your damn Priest revived it and subjected that poor girl to pain you rlm@0: could probably never imagine." rlm@0: "Forgive me for saying this, Selket, but out of the entire human rlm@0: woman in the world you seem to be fondest of these three," Anubid rlm@0: said, and with a wave of his hand had summoned images of Nakia, rlm@0: Sanura, and Layla into the air around the them. rlm@0: "I don't see the differences of the ones I'm fond of?" he asked. rlm@0: Selket knew he was right, even her husband had humans to protect rlm@0: above all others, and that was Ramla and her mother, Neith. rlm@0: Ra watches them and had a hidden smile; he knew his plan would rlm@0: work. What his wife and son didn't know was that there was more to rlm@0: Nakia and Ramla then meets the eye. Once their feelings for each rlm@0: other hit its maximum point, not even Anubis Priest could stop them. rlm@0: He loved all of his people and will not have any evil run around his rlm@0: world, causing peace to fall into utter chaos. rlm@0: "Anubis, think about what you're doing, and dear wife, Anubis is rlm@0: right; we gods and goddess have certain humans that we are most fond rlm@0: of," he told them rlm@0: "Anubis that is all, you may go, and thank you" Ra told him and rlm@0: waved his hand. rlm@0: Anubis bowed to them, and then returned to his own halls. He closed rlm@0: the door behind him then his parents began, once again, to speak. rlm@0: "Ra, I wont let that Priest kill her or any human woman," she told rlm@0: her husband. rlm@0: Ra smiled at his wife, and kissed her on the lips. rlm@0: "Don't worry my dear Selkhet, I always have a back up plan: I have rlm@0: sent a message to my pet, and I believe that you might soon see rlm@0: something really... what is the word the humans use, oh yes, cool." rlm@0: He told her with a little laugh. Selket just held on to him and knew rlm@0: he would help; he always had a big heart. rlm@0: ******* rlm@0: In Ramla's quarters the four women sat there waiting for Layla. No rlm@0: conversation passed between them, as all were still deep within their rlm@0: own thoughts. Ramla was trying to find something say to Nakia. rlm@0: "Why, why do I just wanted her to hold me, and never let go, what rlm@0: can I say do show that . . . Ra help please what do I do?" She kept rlm@0: looking over to her black haired friend, who was looking out the rlm@0: window. rlm@0: Nakia was also in deep thought as she looked out the window at rlm@0: nothing in particular. rlm@0: "I have felt this feeling before, but it's a little different. rlm@0: Goddess, I know you're watching me, could you please show me a sign rlm@0: that will help me understand this feeling, and why it's coming from rlm@0: Ramla every time?" She turned her head little to see Ramla looking at rlm@0: her. Her mouth kept opening and close like she wanted to say rlm@0: something. Nakia started to giggle. rlm@0: "Ramla is there something on your mind, because if you keep opening rlm@0: and close you mouth you might catch a fly." rlm@0: Ramla blush at be caught doing that, and smiled at her friend. rlm@0: "I was trying think of something to talk about, that's all," she rlm@0: replied. rlm@0: "Why don't you tell me about things you like to do, and I will do rlm@0: the same," Nakia replied. As the two young girls talked about things, rlm@0: Neith watched them and thought. rlm@0: " My, My, Ra you have out done yourself this time, and the power rlm@0: coming from them is very great, I just hope they tell each other how rlm@0: they feel before something bad happens." rlm@0: Neith was happy that her one and only daughter was happy and may rlm@0: have found someone to be with, but was also little sad to let her rlm@0: daughter go, but she knew it need to happen. rlm@0: Sanura was watching the door that Layla left out of; she had a rlm@0: feeling that something wasn't right. rlm@0: "Something wrong, I just knew it, could it be him." She then heard rlm@0: someone scream and looked around the room, startled. Ramla and Nakia rlm@0: were talking, and the queen was watching them: none of them seemed to rlm@0: have heard the scream. rlm@0: She looked over to Ra's Phoenix, which had its eyes closed. rlm@0: The Phoenix in Neith's lap opened it eyes and took off very fast, rlm@0: screaming its song the whole time. All four women stopped what they rlm@0: were doing, looked at one anther, and took off to find out what was rlm@0: going on. As they ran down hall they heared someone screaming: but rlm@0: whom it was they still had yet to find out. rlm@0: rlm@0: A/N- I hope you like this chapter; I hope to have the next chapter rlm@0: up soon.
