rlm@0: A silly, one-shot ficsnip that I wrote as a Valentine's Day gift for Meghan/Suppi-chan. rlm@0: ^_- rlm@0: rlm@0: rlm@0: -- rlm@0: rlm@0: _The Gift That Keeps On Giving_ rlm@0: rlm@0: Author: Catsy (nekojita@ayashi.net) rlm@0: Content: silly, mild sexual suggestiveness rlm@0: rlm@0: -- rlm@0: "Hiiragizawa-kun," Tomoyo scolded, returning Eriol's selection to the wall rlm@0: rack, "you're impossible. Why can't we just get her chocolate, like rlm@0: everyone else?" rlm@0: rlm@0: Eriol favored Tomoyo with that special smile he reserved for those times rlm@0: when he was planning something genuinely diabolical and therefore needed to rlm@0: look as innocent as possible. "Not impossible, Tomoyo-san. Merely rlm@0: difficult. Everyone gives chocolate on Valentine's Day in Japan--wouldn't rlm@0: you rather do something special for Sakura-san?" rlm@0: rlm@0: Eriol knew it to be a mistake the moment he said it. As soon as the word rlm@0: /Sakura/ passed his lips, Tomoyo once again got that far-off look of rlm@0: orgasmic pleasure that meant she was visualizing Sakura in something rlm@0: frilly, handmade, and probably better left at Victoria's Secret if it rlm@0: weren't fitted for a teenager. rlm@0: rlm@0: Sure enough, Tomoyo whirled and clasped her hands together, declaring, rlm@0: "Before, when she was capturing and mastering the Clow Cards, there were so rlm@0: many different outfits I could've made for her! Why, there was this one I rlm@0: made that one year--" rlm@0: rlm@0: Eriol waited for Tomoyo's gushing description to end, a patient and rlm@0: indulgent smile on his face. "And now that it's long over," he said in an rlm@0: attempt to steer the conversation back on track, "what should we get her?" rlm@0: rlm@0: Tomoyo tapped thoughtfully at her chin, looking around the store. "I don't rlm@0: know," she said with such despair that she sounded as if she were rlm@0: confessing to a double-murder. "The problem is, anything we buy her will rlm@0: just embarass her." rlm@0: rlm@0: "Undoubtedly," he agreed cheerfully. "So then, what about this one?" rlm@0: rlm@0: Tomoyo shook her head firmly. "Too plain. It would never do for her." rlm@0: rlm@0: "And this?" rlm@0: rlm@0: Another shake, side-to-side. "No, that shade of green is wrong for her. rlm@0: What about this?" rlm@0: rlm@0: Eriol halted in his tracks for a moment, thinking. "No," he said after a rlm@0: brief pause. "We're on the right track, but it's too glittery." rlm@0: rlm@0: "But Sakura-chan /likes/ glitter!" Tomoyo protested. rlm@0: rlm@0: "Oh yes," Eriol said with a winning smile. "But I think perhaps this is rlm@0: the wrong occasion. On the other hand..." His eyes wandered over to another rlm@0: section of the store. Tomoyo immediately saw what he'd spotted, and her rlm@0: eyes glazed over. "Oh, that's perfect! Absolutely /perfect!/ rlm@0: Hiiragizawa-kun, we absolutely have to get that for her, it's just the rlm@0: right shade of pink, and she will completely /die/ over it!" rlm@0: rlm@0: Eriol winced at the volume of Tomoyo's voice, and hooked his arm in hers rlm@0: to guide her in the right direction. It took some work, since she was busy rlm@0: bouncing up and down and generally attracting attention with her rlm@0: exclamations. Laughing gently, he picked up the item in question, and rlm@0: turned it on. It gave off faint buzz, which died after a few seconds. rlm@0: "We'll have to buy batteries, of course." rlm@0: rlm@0: "Oh, don't you worry about that," Tomoyo said with the gleam of rapture in rlm@0: her eyes. "I have plenty of those."
