     1 Yet another day ends.

     3 I am Kinomoto Sakura, 17. I am a happy, naive, carefree girl...

     4 or at least thats what i should be. 

     5 

     6 I collapse onto my bed, careful not to bend any of the tomoyo 

     7 pictures scattered on my bed. I have boyfriend... Syaoran. I 

     8 love him, or loved him, really. our relationship used to be fun,

     9 it used to be deep... it has become a chore, something i must 

    10 endure.

    11 

    12 I pick up a picture of Tomoyo. She is so beautiful. I love her

    13 hair, i love her eyes...

    14 

    15 i love her.

    16 

    17 "No...Syaoran is my 'special person'" i whisper to myself.

    18 

    19 but my heart tells me otherwise.

    20 

    21 The next morning i wake up, excited for the day to start. 

    22 I will walk to school with Tomoyo.

    23 

    24 As i walk next to her, holding her hand tightly, i hope 

    25 that we never get to school.. it stays like this forever.

    26 Laughing, not a care in the world... i look into her deep

    27 eyes. They are like wells, endless, exposing herself to the 

    28 world. I know she loves me... she confessed when we were

    29 14. I really should of realized it earlier, she is obsessed 

    30 with every detail about me... and i, the same with her.

    32 only if she knew...

    33 

    34 "Tomoyo-chan...I..." suddenly, we get to school, and the spell

    35 that wraps us together is broken. I look up to see syaoran, 

    36 waiting for me. He greets me with nothing but a grunt, the 

    37 closest thing i have recieved to an "i love you" in years. i 

    38 look to tomoyo, to save me, help me, but she either doesn't 

    39 get what i mean or decides not to help. she walks away, saying,

    40 

    41 "I'll see you later, Sakura-chan"

    42 

    43 And she does that sweet smile. god, tomoyo, don't do that to me.

    44 that smile... it makes me shiver. 

    45 

    46 "ahem." syaoran breaks me out of my utopia.

    47 

    48 "oh, um... whats up?" i reply.

    49 

    50 "there is something i need to tell you..." syaoran says.

    51 

    52 "I am going back to Hong Kong. I don't fit here... hong

    53 kong is where i belong. I think that we should break this 

    54 off... i know the gap between us is only getting wider. I 

    55 know about... Tomoyo."

    57 Her name sends shivers down my spine. I'm sad to see syaoran 

    58 go, but now, the two words "tomoyo" and "sakura" can finally 

    59 be together.

    61 I throw my arms around Syaoran and say my final words to him.
