Comments are very much welcome.5 cjchua@skyinet.net9 Sayonara wa, Ame no Hi13 Rain poured down as if the very clouds were mourning along with Sakura.15 He was gone.17 Not even the Mistress of the Clow could raise the dead.19 It would've been easy to shield herself from the elements, but she preferred20 not to. A simple umbrella was all that prvented her from being completely21 drenched.23 "Sakura-chan." Tomoyo stood by her side, unattended by her cadre of24 bodyguards.26 "Please, leave me alone, Tomoyo-chan. I need to do this by myself."28 "I know that the two of you were happy together--but you shouldn't throw29 away your life just because you lost him."31 "I'm not--"33 "Touya said you haven't eaten in a week."35 Sakura froze as she finally heard her body screaming for sustenance.37 "Please...come home."39 She turned and looked at Tomoyo nearly in tears herself. Her eyes were40 crying out, I don't want to lose you.42 "To...Tomoyo-chan... I didn't mean--" Sakura choked on her own tears "--all43 this time, I didn't know. Please believe me."45 "I'd always hoped that you would see how I loved you someday, but I didn't46 want it to be like this."48 The raven-haired heiress paused as the downpour began to ebb.50 "Sometimes it seems like there's no hope in sight, but then something51 wonderfully unexpected happens."53 "I was happy while you were--"55 "I was happy, too--happy for you. At least I tried to be. I knew I could56 make you happy, but I was afraid you wouldn't...understand."58 "Oh, Tomoyo-chan...."60 Tomoyo gazed upon her dearest friend and love as Sakura slowly opened her61 heart to the one who had always been right beside her.63 It was the longest and most treasured moment of their lives.65 The rain had stopped half an hour ago.67 Golden rays of light caressed their rain-soaked and weary bodies.69 Tomoyo's warmth far exceeded the Sun's as Sakura lay with her head upon her70 best friend and newfound-lover's bosom.72 Rainy days never last for long.74 --75 Johann Chua -- HP: http://www.geocities.com/fuuma_1999/ AIM: YnskKn76 CLAMP Fanfics 5.0: http://members.nbci.com/fuuma_monou/clampfix5.0/77 "Does anything last forever?
