     6 Moshimoshi everyone. I'm sorry this is a week late... but my

     7 "creative flow" got quite impended for awhile. I'm debating making a webpage

     8 to put my stories on that will be updated more quickly than ASMR, but don't

     9 count on it. ^-^ And one more reminder- this story is based on both anime

    10 and manga, so there will be chunks from both. Enough rambling. On with the

    11 story. - Princess

    19 "Dreams that won't disappear when I open my eyes.."

    20 Chapter One

    23         "Hotaru-chan!!"

    25         ChibiMoon's eyes were wide as she saw, for the first time in

    26 forever, it seemed, the raven-haired soldier of Saturn. Strange glass youma

    27 had attacked... and had captured all of the inner senshi. ChibiUsa had

    28 thought they wouldn't win... when the Outer Senshi had shown up. With

    29 Saturn.

    30 

    31         "Hello, ChibiUsa-chan.." It sounded so light, so formal, but a

    32 shiver tremored down the pink-haired girl's spine at the melodic sound of

    33 Hotaru's voice. She could never tire of hearing it. 

    34 

    35         "World Shaking!" "Deep Submerge!" "Dead Scream.." Sailoruranus,

    36 Sailorneptune, and Sailorpluto shattered the demons that appeared to be made

    37 out of mirrors. But as they began to re-form, Sailormoon and the inner

    38 soldiers began to ask questions... when Saturn spoke.

    39 

    40         "A crisis is approaching the Princess. We must give her our power."

    41 With that, she simply bowed her head and a deep purple aura suddenly

    42 radiated from her. The other guardian soldiers quickly followed suit.... and

    43 to ChibiUsa's amazement, Sailormoon called out "Moon Eternal... Make-up!"

    44 and transformed into a new uniform with.... wings?!

    45 

    46         "This is Sailormoon's true form," Hotaru spoke once more. "I have

    47 come to tell you this."

    51         Those words echoed in ChibiUsa's mind now. Brief words, yes, but

    52 everything Hotaru had said was played over and over in her thoughts now as

    53 she readied for bed. She looked at herself solemnly in the mirror as she

    54 slowly brushed out her candy-pink hair.

    55 

    56         What was going on? What is the new danger? Is Usagi in trouble? How

    57 did Hotaru get big again so fast? Does she still.... care? All of these

    58 questions rampaged unanswered in ChibiUsa's heart, and with a weary sigh she

    59 turned off her lamp and slid into bed. Despite her troubled thoughts, she

    60 fell into a deep, dreamless sleep as soon as her head hit the pillow.

    61         

    62         Hours later, something woke ChibiUsa. She didn't know what, or why,

    63 she just sat with her eyes half-open, staring at the bedspread though not

    64 really focusing on it. The Sandman's clouded dreams still hovered over her

    65 mind, and she half-smiled, content to linger where she was rather than think

    66 about why she was awake in the middle of the night.

    68         But this was short-lived, for a shadow fell over the bunny-dappled

    69 bedspread, and slowly she blinked and looked up toward the window. Hotaru

    70 sat on the open windowsill, the moonlight reflecting purple on her raven

    71 hair. Her slender body was clothed in a simple white cotton dress that was

    72 thin enough to pass for a nightgown. As her eyes met ChibiUsa's, she smiled.

    73 "You're awake."

    74 

    75         "Hotaru-chan," ChibiUsa mumbled as her mind cleared. "Hotaru-chan...

    76 why... how long have you been here?" She blushed a bit, realizing Hotaru

    77 could have been watching her for some time.

    78         

    79         "For a while," Hotaru answered noncommitally.

    80 

    81         "What... were you doing?" Chibiusa asked, slowly sitting up in bed.

    82 As she did, the thick strap of the white tank-top she wore slid down her

    83 shoulder, causing the pinky fuzzy rabbit emblazoned on the front to wrinkle.

    86         "Watching you." Slowly Hotaru unfolded her legs that had been pulled

    87 to her chest and stood, walking gracefully to sit on the edge of ChibiUsa's

    88 bed, one leg pulled beneath her as she faced the pink-haired girl. "It's

    89 nice to be able to do that again. It's been so long."

    90 

    91         "I know," ChibiUsa replied. She smiled suddenly and, to Hotaru's

    92 surprise, threw her arms about her, laying her head on her chest as she

    93 pulled her close. "I've missed you, Hota-chan."

    94 

    95         Blushing, Hotaru smiled brightly even as she felt a bit of moistness

    96 build up in her eyes. Returning the embrace, she murmured, "I've missed you

    97 too, ChibiUsa-chan.." 

    98 

    99         For a few long moments they stayed in that position, lost to the

   100 world. But ChibiUsa suddenly noticed that the softness beneath her cheek was

   101 Hotaru's breasts... and that realization prompted her to sit up straight as

   102 an arrow, reddish eyes wide, cheeks aflame.

   103 

   104         "ChibiUsa...?" Hotaru's eyes blinked open and then she hesitated

   105 when she saw the look on her friend's face. They both sat, once more frozen

   106 as a dozen emotions seemed to pass between them. It was as if they were

   107 linked... both feeling the love, and confusion, and passion that the other

   108 felt. 

   109 

   110         Hotaru's eyes suddenly closed and she leaned forward, pulling

   111 ChibiUsa in close. For a moment ChibiUsa's eyes widened and she inhaled

   112 sharply, but the moment Hotaru's lips touched hers a sense of calm and peace

   113 flowed through her, and her eyes slowly closed.

   114 

   115         It was like no kiss she had ever recieved before. True, she had only

   116 been kissed once... but it was not like this. Everything in the world seemed

   117 to be wiped away and the only thing she knew was Hotaru... her touch, her

   118 scent, her warmth, her love. It was overwhelming... it felt like the time at

   119 the beach when a wave had crashed over her head and taken her under,

   120 disorienting her until she didn't know how to come back up. But this time,

   121 she wasn't sure she -wanted- to come back up. 

   122 

   123         After only a moment, though it had seemed like forever, they broke

   124 apart and sat with their noses only inches from each other, staring into

   125 each other's eyes. Each wondered what the other was thinking, what to do

   126 next. It was ChibiUsa who spoke first.

   127 

   128         "Hotaru-chan," ChibiUsa whispered breathlessly. Their was a strange

   129 burning light in her eyes that Hotaru couldn't quite place. "Hotaru... don't

   130 leave. Stay here tonight."

   131 

   132         The implications of that statement took a moment to reach Hotaru's

   133 mind. Stay... the night? She knew ChibiUsa didn't just mean an innocent

   134 sleep-over. The thought that -ChibiUsa- would suggest such a thing astounded

   135 her. "C-ChibiUsa.." she stammered, "...are you, I mean.... are you

   136 sure...?"

   137 

   138         A firm nod was her reply. "Don't leave, Hota-chan." 

   139         

   140         Hotaru blinked, watching her in silence for a moment. Right and

   141 wrong danced in her mind- what should she do? But in the end, it was her

   142 emotions, her heart that won.

   144         "Okay."

   147         That's it for now, minna. Sorry I had to give another cliff-hanger,

   148 but I wanted to finish it for this week and it's hard to do that with my

   149 classes and all! More to come!
