     1.4 +Hello again. ^-^ This story is kind of a third part to ‘Moonlit 
     1.5 +Nights’ and it centers mainly around Diana and Momoko. 
     1.6 +Hopefully it will tie up some of the loose ends left from 
     1.7 +‘Moonlit Nights’ 1 and 2. You don’t have to have read those 
     1.8 +before you read this, but it would probably help. 
     1.9 +
    1.10 +For those of you that don’t know some of these characters, 
    1.11 +here are some very brief descriptions (we’re using some parts 
    1.12 +from the manga in this, too, like Ruruna and Naruru)-
    1.13 +Diana: She’s ChibiUsa’s guardian cat and comes from the 
    1.14 +future. She has a human form but she still has her tail as a 
    1.15 +human. 
    1.16 +Momoko: She’s a cute lavender haired Chinese girl who 
    1.17 +befriended ChibiUsa shortly after she’d first come to the past. 
    1.18 +Ruruna & Naruru: They’re two other friends of ChibiUsa’s, 
    1.19 +though Hotaru can’t seem to stand them. ^^ They only showed 
    1.20 +up once near the end of the manga, but they are fun to keep 
    1.21 +around. And yes they do say strange things like ‘Haaging’, so 
    1.22 +just remember we didn’t make that up. ^_-
    1.23 +
    1.24 +We’d like to thank Eric because without him, we never would 
    1.25 +have been able to get this out for a long time. Thanks for

    1.30 +to finish a very short Card Captor Sakura fic, but its pretty 
    1.31 +depressing. ^^; We’re about halfway through a much happier 
    1.32 +Card Captor Sakura story about now. If you’d be at all

    1.50 +"Over here, Momo-chan!" a familiar voice yelled 
    1.51 +to Momoko. She smiled and looked up to see her 
    1.52 +friend ChibiUsa already waiting for her outside the 
    1.53 +gate with Ruruna and Naruru. Relief washed over her 
    1.54 +as she exited the school grounds and made her way 
    1.55 +over to her friends. ChibiUsa waved cheerfully to her 
    1.56 +as she approached.
    1.57 +
    1.58 +"I'm glad that's finally over with," Momoko said
    1.59 +as she started walking along with the other girls.
    1.60 +
    1.61 +"Yeah. All those tests the week after the dance."
    1.62 +ChibiUsa sighed. "I'm sure I didn't pass most of
    1.63 +them."
    1.64 +
    1.65 +"We shouldn't worry about it," Naruru said. "Its
    1.66 +Friday, so we've got all weekend to forget about
    1.67 +the week." 
    1.68 +
    1.69 +"Sounds good to me," Ruruna said. "That gives me
    1.70 +time to talk to my boyfriend about not being able
    1.71 +to go anyplace last weekend because of the dance.
    1.72 +What are you two going to do?"
    1.73 +
    1.74 +"Not much," Momoko said. She was glad that it was
    1.75 +the weekend, but she really didn't feel like doing
    1.76 +anything. It had been a week, but her mind kept
    1.77 +being drawn back to the mysterious girl she'd met
    1.78 +at the dance. Every time she closed her eyes, she
    1.79 +saw her. When she fell asleep, she would dream of 
    1.80 +what had happened. And she could swear it felt like the
    1.81 +other girl was right at arms length at times.
    1.82 +
    1.83 +"Hotaru and I are going shopping and then we're
    1.84 +going to see a movie." ChibiUsa smiled.
    1.85 +
    1.86 +Naruru and Ruruna stared at her for several moments.
    1.87 +"You're the only one she acts that way around, you
    1.88 +know," Naruru said.
    1.89 +
    1.90 +"What way?" ChibiUsa asked.
    1.91 +
    1.92 +"All happy and excited. Blushing a lot. Buying you
    1.93 +things," Ruruna said.
    1.94 +
    1.95 +"That's because I'm always short on money," ChibiUsa
    1.96 +countered the only excuse she could think of.
    1.97 +
    1.98 +"How she gets so jealous over you, how she 
    1.99 +walks with you to school," Naruru continued.
   1.100 +
   1.101 +"Those weird looks she gives you," Ruruna and Naruru
   1.102 +said simultaneously.
   1.103 +
   1.104 +ChibiUsa blushed a deep crimson hue. Momoko said
   1.105 +nothing, having seen ChibiUsa kiss the dark haired
   1.106 +girl in question already.
   1.107 +
   1.108 +"She's my best friend," ChibiUsa said defensively.
   1.109 +
   1.110 +"I don't know. It seems kinda strange to me," Naruru
   1.111 +said. "I heard a rumor that she's a lesbian. Could be
   1.112 +why she stays around you so much, ChibiUsa. She
   1.113 +probably likes you."
   1.114 +
   1.115 +"But that's a rumor," ChibiUsa protested.
   1.116 +
   1.117 +"Well, its not like you exactly discourage her, though.
   1.118 +So of course she wouldn't have stopped," Ruruna added.
   1.119 +
   1.120 +"It's just a rumor. You should ignore things like
   1.121 +that," ChibiUsa said. Two arms wrapped around her from
   1.122 +behind pulling her into a hug, startling the already
   1.123 +nervous pink haired girl.    
   1.124 +
   1.125 +"Hi, ChibiUsa-chan. Sorry I'm late, but I forgot
   1.126 +something back in class," Hotaru said happily as she
   1.127 +let go of the other girl and held her hand. Ruruna and
   1.128 +Naruru stared at ChibiUsa as if they'd proven their point.
   1.129 +
   1.130 +ChibiUsa laughed nervously. "Where to next, everyone?"
   1.131 +she asked, trying to change the subject.
   1.132 +
   1.133 +"We're going back to Ruruna's house," Naruru answered.
   1.134 +
   1.135 +"Yeah, so we'll probably see you later. We'll probably
   1.136 +do some haaging before we get there though," Ruruna said 
   1.137 +as she waved to the other girls before she took off with
   1.138 +Naruru.
   1.139 +
   1.140 +"What does that mean again?" Hotaru asked her pink haired
   1.141 +girlfriend.
   1.142 +
   1.143 +"It means they're going to get some Haagen Dazs before they
   1.144 +go home," ChibiUsa supplied.     
   1.145 +
   1.146 +"Ohhhh... I wish they'd just talk like normal people,"
   1.147 +Hotaru said exasperated. She'd never liked the two girls
   1.148 +much, but they were ChibiUsa's friends, so she tried to at
   1.149 +least get along with them.
   1.150 +
   1.151 +ChibiUsa laughed. "They aren't that bad, Taru-chan." She put 
   1.152 +her  arms around the dark haired girl. Hotaru smiled as she felt  
   1.153 +ChibiUsa against her.
   1.154 +
   1.155 +"Maybe not, but I'm still glad they're gone." Hotaru started
   1.156 +leaning towards ChibiUsa as the other girl began to do the
   1.157 +same. ChibiUsa stopped suddenly and slowly turned to stare
   1.158 +in a certain direction. Hotaru followed her gaze and saw
   1.159 +Momoko still standing there. The two girls pulled away and
   1.160 +looked around nervously as their friend pretended not to
   1.161 +have noticed anything.
   1.162 +
   1.163 +"So, where should we go now?" ChibiUsa asked nervously.
   1.164 +
   1.165 +Momoko decided to ignore what had just happened for the 
   1.166 +time being. She had to much on her mind to worry about her 
   1.167 +friend's relationship. She still didn't know what to say to 
   1.168 +ChibiUsa about it in the first place. And it really didn't seem 
   1.169 +like much of a big deal anymore. Not after she'd started 
   1.170 +realizing how she felt about Diana. She sighed before forcing 
   1.171 +a smile. "How about the Crown Fruit Parlor? We can go there 
   1.172 +before we decide what to do next."
   1.173 +
   1.174 +ChibiUsa's eyes lit up while Hotaru sweat dropped, knowing
   1.175 +she'd probably be paying for a large meal for the pink haired
   1.176 +girl.
   1.177 +
   1.178 +"Sounds great!" ChibiUsa said happily.
   1.179 +
   1.180 +"Ok then. We'll find out what else we want to do once we get
   1.181 +there," Momoko said. She was glad was glad that they were
   1.182 +going to the Fruit Parlor. ChibiUsa would be distracted by the
   1.183 +food while Hotaru was distracted by ChibiUsa, as she often 
   1.184 +was. It would give Momoko more time to think about things.
   1.185 +
   1.186 +As the three girls continued walking, a gray kitten ran up to
   1.187 +them.
   1.188 +
   1.189 +"Diana!"
   1.190 +
   1.191 +Momoko's head jerked up as she heard that familiar name. She
   1.192 +quickly looked around for the beautiful girl. Her spirits sank 
   1.193 +as she realized it was ChibiUsa's kitten.
   1.194 +
   1.195 +ChibiUsa picked up the kitten and placed it on her head, as
   1.196 +she often did. "Do you want to go with us?" she asked.
   1.197 +
   1.198 +Diana meowed in response. ChibiUsa giggled as the kitten 
   1.199 +tried to get more comfortable on her head. Momoko and 
   1.200 +Hotaru stared at ChibiUsa for a moment, the other girl 
   1.201 +seeming to find nothing strange about the kitten riding on her 
   1.202 +head.
   1.203 +
   1.204 +Diana kept shyly stealing glances at Momoko as they began to
   1.205 +walk again. She'd been meeting ChibiUsa everyday after 
   1.206 +school that week so she could see her lavender haired friend. 
   1.207 +After learning that the other girl liked her, she tried to see
   1.208 +her as often as possible. Diana had a crush on Momoko for
   1.209 +a long time and it felt so good to know the other girl liked her.  
   1.210 +Unfortunately, she hadn't been able to tell Momoko how she 
   1.211 +felt.
   1.212 +
   1.213 +
   1.214 +Momoko sat quietly in thought while petting the gray kitten
   1.215 +curled up in her lap. She barely noticed the other two girls
   1.216 +talking to her. She was having trouble concentrating because 
   1.217 +her thoughts kept returning to the mysterious girl at the dance. 
   1.218 +She finally brought her attention back to Hotaru and ChibiUsa 
   1.219 +when she noticed them stand up.
   1.220 +
   1.221 +"We're sorry, Momo-chan," Hotaru apologized. "We promised 
   1.222 +Setsuna-mama and Michiru-mama that we'd go shopping with 
   1.223 +them today. We're going to be late if we don't get going soon. 
   1.224 +I can't believe I forgot."
   1.225 +
   1.226 +"Don't worry about it," Momoko said, feeling a bit relieved 
   1.227 +that she'd have time to think by herself.
   1.228 +
   1.229 +"You could come with us if you want," Hotaru offered 
   1.230 +hopefully.
   1.231 +
   1.232 +"No. Thanks anyway, but right now I don't really feel like 
   1.233 +going anywhere," Momoko declined.
   1.234 +
   1.235 +"Okay. Call me tonight then," ChibiUsa said.
   1.236 +
   1.237 +"ChibiUsa..." Hotaru began.
   1.238 +
   1.239 +"Oh yeah. Nevermind. Call Hotaru's house tonight. I'll be 
   1.240 +there." ChibiUsa smiled at her friend as she stood up. 
   1.241 +ChibiUsa and Hotaru waved to her as they walked off.
   1.242 +
   1.243 +Momoko sighed. She saw them hold hands as soon as they 
   1.244 +thought they were out of sight. 'I was so shocked when I found 
   1.245 +out that they were together. But now... I don't know. Am I 
   1.246 +jealous of them?' She sighed again and took a sip of her drink. 
   1.247 +'At least they have each other. I just want to see Diana again.' 
   1.248 +She blushed deeply as she thought of  the other girl. 'How 
   1.249 +could I be in love with her? I only met her the night of the 
   1.250 +dance. Then why do I feel like I've known her for years?
   1.251 +She seemed so familiar.'
   1.252 +
   1.253 +Momoko gently pet the sleeping kitten on her lap. Diana 
   1.254 +purred happily. "Oh! ChibiUsa forgot to take Diana with her." 
   1.255 +She picked Diana up and quickly went out the door, trying to 
   1.256 +catch up to her friends. She looked around as crowds of people 
   1.257 +passed by on the busy streets obscuring her view. "She said 
   1.258 +she'd be at Hotaru's house tonight. I guess you can stay with 
   1.259 +me until then." She lifted the kitten up to her face. 
   1.260 +"How does that sound?"
   1.261 +
   1.262 +Diana meowed happily and licked Momoko's cheek. The 
   1.263 +lavender haired girl giggled. "Okay then. I could use some 
   1.264 +company right now anyway."
   1.265 +The kitten looked back at her happily, purring. Momoko 
   1.266 +walked away from the cafe with the kitten in her arms and no 
   1.267 +real destination in mind.
   1.268 +
   1.269 +"Where should we go Diana?" Momoko asked.
   1.270 +
   1.271 +'She's asking me? I have to come up with a nice place for us to 
   1.272 +go then. Just don't say anything stupid,' Diana thought to 
   1.273 +herself. "We could..."
   1.274 +
   1.275 +Before Diana could finish, Momoko turned around swiftly. 
   1.276 +She looked around to see who the voice belonged to. "Hello?"
   1.277 +
   1.278 +Diana sweatdropped. "Oh no,' she thought. 'I'm a cat. I'm not
   1.279 +supposed to talk. Good going.' Diana meowed nervously, 
   1.280 +hoping Momoko would forget about the voice.
   1.281 +
   1.282 +"That was strange." Momoko shrugged and continued 
   1.283 +walking. "Can't think of anything, can you? Let's go home 
   1.284 +then. I'll take you to ChibiUsa later tonight." Momoko smiled 
   1.285 +as she heard Diana meow in agreement.
   1.286 +
   1.287 +'Why am I talking to a cat so much? Probably because I hear 
   1.288 +ChibiUsa talk to her so much. And its comforting in an odd 
   1.289 +way. I don't have to worry about what I say to her. And its 
   1.290 +nice to have someone to talk to about Diana.' Momoko 
   1.291 +scratched the kitten's chin and started off for home.
   1.292 +
   1.293 +
   1.294 +Momoko unlocked the door to her house and let herself in. 
   1.295 +She knew her parents were both gone for the night and that 
   1.296 +was fine with her. She'd rather be alone for the moment. Her 
   1.297 +mother had noticed her strange behavior lately and had asked 
   1.298 +her about it. She had tried to tell her mother it was nothing, but 
   1.299 +she didn't believe her.
   1.300 +
   1.301 +Momoko sighed wearily as she walked into her room, setting 
   1.302 +down her backpack before sitting on the bed.  "Why is this 
   1.303 +getting to me so much? I've never felt like this before," she 
   1.304 +said aloud. She slumped backwards onto the bed staring at the 
   1.305 +ceiling.    
   1.306 +
   1.307 +The little gray cat cat crawled onto the lavender haired girl's 
   1.308 +lap. Momoko giggled. "Thanks, kitty. I'm glad you're here." 
   1.309 +Diana purred as Momoko began petting her. "Why'd Diana 
   1.310 +have to leave?" she asked, not expecting an answer.
   1.311 +
   1.312 +'Because you noticed my tail,' Diana thought sadly.
   1.313 +
   1.314 +"I still don't know what was going on. That whole night was 
   1.315 +pretty strange," Momoko closed her eyes, trying to remember 
   1.316 +every small detail of the night of the dance. How pretty Diana 
   1.317 +had been. How it felt when they were dancing. How she'd 
   1.318 +forgotten her whole reason for being there while dancing with 
   1.319 +the other girl.
   1.320 +
   1.321 +Diana silently watched the lavender haired girl as she lay deep 
   1.322 +in thought. Her eyes darted over Momoko's lovely features. 
   1.323 +Diana blushed as she continued looking at the other girl. She 
   1.324 +stood up on Momoko's lap and walked across the other girl so 
   1.325 +that her face was right above Momoko's. Her paw gently 
   1.326 +stroked Momoko's cheek. The lavender haired girl didn't seem 
   1.327 +to notice. Diana sighed longingly. Without thinking, she 
   1.328 +leaned forward and tried to kiss Momoko.
   1.329 +
   1.330 +Momoko's eyes opened suddenly. Diana jumped back. "I'm so 
   1.331 +sorry!" Diana blurted out.
   1.332 +
   1.333 +Momoko stared wide eyed at the kitten. Diana stared back at 
   1.334 +her. "I'm sorry," she repeated. Momoko abruptly fainted.   
   1.335 +
   1.336 +Momoko blinked several times. What had happened? Dim 
   1.337 +light filtered through her open window, making her wince. 
   1.338 +She'd been unconscious for a while.
   1.339 +
   1.340 +"Are you okay?" she heard a voice ask worriedly. She could 
   1.341 +barely make out the figure sitting near her on her bed. She 
   1.342 +blinked again, trying to make out who it was. She bolted 
   1.343 +upright when she saw it was the girl she'd met a week ago, 
   1.344 +Diana.
   1.345 +
   1.346 +"Diana!? What are you doing here?" Momoko asked, shock 
   1.347 +and joy mixed in her voice.
   1.348 +
   1.349 +Diana thought for a moment before answering. "Well, its kind 
   1.350 +of hard to explain." Diana remembered how she'd left the 
   1.351 +dance after Momoko had noticed her tail. She tried desperately 
   1.352 +to keep it behind her to hide it from view. 'Why do I have to 
   1.353 +keep my tail in my human form? Mom and Dad don't have 
   1.354 +tails when they're humans. It's not fair. Especially with 
   1.355 +Momoko. How am I supposed to explain it to her?' she 
   1.356 +thought.
   1.357 +
   1.358 +"I'm.. I'm glad you're here," Momoko said shyly. 'Why am I so
   1.359 +nervous right now? This isn't like me at all.'
   1.360 +
   1.361 +'Is she blushing?' Diana asked herself. 'Could it be because of
   1.362 +me?' she thought happily. 'Now's my chance to tell her how 
   1.363 +I've felt about her for so long. She said she... she said she 
   1.364 +loved me when she was talking to my kitten form. But what if 
   1.365 +she knows that the kitten and the girl are both me. Would she 
   1.366 +still have said that about my human form? I'm so nervous. I 
   1.367 +don't know what to say. How can I explain things to her? 
   1.368 +What would she think?'
   1.369 +
   1.370 +'She's here. I don't know how, but she's here,' Momoko 
   1.371 +thought. 'That's what I've been wanting all week, to see her 
   1.372 +again. So why can't I think of anything to say to her?'
   1.373 +
   1.374 +Both girls sat nervously, unsure of what to do.
   1.375 +
   1.376 +Momoko suddenly turned to Diana. "Why did you leave the 
   1.377 +dance? I've felt bad about that for the past week."
   1.378 +
   1.379 +Diana looked away from the other girl. "I just had to leave..."
   1.380 +
   1.381 +"Diana, I've been so confused about things for the past week. I
   1.382 +just found out something surprising about some friends of 
   1.383 +mine that I'm still trying to deal with, and all these things 
   1.384 +about you and the dance. I don't know if I can handle anymore 
   1.385 +secrets or lies. Please, can we tell each other the truth about 
   1.386 +everything?" Momoko pleaded.
   1.387 +
   1.388 +Diana wanted to agree with her, but there were so many things 
   1.389 +she didn't know how to explain. "Things are a lot more 
   1.390 +confusing than you think."
   1.391 +
   1.392 +Momoko shook her head. "I don't care. I want to know."
   1.393 +
   1.394 +Diana sighed. There were so many things she wanted to tell 
   1.395 +Momoko. And Momoko did want to know. It seemed to fit 
   1.396 +perfectly. Diana took a deep breath before replying. "Okay, 
   1.397 +but this is all pretty strange. You have to promise that you'll 
   1.398 +believe me."
   1.399 +
   1.400 +Momoko stared at her for a moment. 'What could be so 
   1.401 +strange?' she thought. "Okay, I promise."
   1.402 +
   1.403 +Diana smiled nervously. "Good. Well, I should probably start 
   1.404 +at the beginning. You should make yourself comfortable. Its a 
   1.405 +long story."
   1.406 +
   1.407 +Momoko looked on, interested in what the other girl had to 
   1.408 +say. Diana started by trying to explain where she came from. 
   1.409 +Momoko looked on in disbelief as Diana told her about her 
   1.410 +home in the future. She went on to tell how she came back to 
   1.411 +the past as ChibiUsa's guardian and how she'd met Momoko 
   1.412 +because she was ChibiUsa's friend. Diana continued on, trying 
   1.413 +to explain most of what had happened up to that point.
   1.414 +
   1.415 +Momoko sat silently for a moment, completely unsure of what 
   1.416 +to say. "But how could you have known me for so long? I 
   1.417 +didn't meet you till last week," she finally said, not mentioning 
   1.418 +the stranger parts of Diana's story. She wanted to believe 
   1.419 +Diana, but what she said couldn't be real.
   1.420 +
   1.421 +"Well, that's not exactly true. You've met me, you just didn't
   1.422 +recognize me," Diana explained.
   1.423 +
   1.424 +"Trust me. I'd recognize you anywhere," Momoko reassured 
   1.425 +her.
   1.426 +
   1.427 +"I didn't really look the same, though," Diana said nervously.
   1.428 +Momoko stared at Diana oddly. Diana sighed. "I know this is 
   1.429 +all hard to believe. I shouldn't have said anything. Its just that I 
   1.430 +really wanted to tell you. I wanted you to know. I didn't want 
   1.431 +to hide anything from you, Momo-chan." She looked down 
   1.432 +sadly.
   1.433 +
   1.434 +Momoko didn't know what to do. Diana was disappointed that 
   1.435 +she didn't believe her. But it all sounded so unbelievable. She 
   1.436 +wanted to say something comforting to the other girl, but she 
   1.437 +couldn't think of anything.
   1.438 +
   1.439 +Suddenly Diana looked up at the lavender haired girl. "Wait! I 
   1.440 +can prove it. If this is possible, then the rest is. Then you'll 
   1.441 +believe me," she said happily.
   1.442 +
   1.443 +Momoko sweatdropped at Diana's enthusiasm. "That's good..." 
   1.444 +She had no idea what Diana could mean. She didn't think 
   1.445 +anything could prove Diana's bizzare story. Diana hesitated for 
   1.446 +a moment. It had ended her night with Momoko at the dance 
   1.447 +and now she was hoping it would prove she was telling the
   1.448 +truth. She sat up on her knees and turned to the side slightly to
   1.449 +show her tail. "See? I'm a Sailorchibimoon's guardian cat. I 
   1.450 +offer advice and help when I can."
   1.451 +
   1.452 +Momoko looked at Diana's tail for a moment. She reached out 
   1.453 +and grabbed it to see if it was real. She instantly let go when 
   1.454 +the tail moved in her hand. "A tail?" Momoko continued to 
   1.455 +watch as Diana moved it behind her.
   1.456 +
   1.457 +"Yeah," Diana said quietly, a little embarrassed about 
   1.458 +Momoko's reaction to it. "I'm the only one that keeps my tail 
   1.459 +in human form. My mom and dad don't have their's when 
   1.460 +they're humans."
   1.461 +
   1.462 +"Human form?" Momoko asked, still shocked by the other 
   1.463 +girl's tail. It felt so real, like when she'd been petting the kitten 
   1.464 +earlier. This was all too confusing. None of this was making 
   1.465 +any sense. Momoko paced back and forth for a second in a 
   1.466 +vain attempt to say something, anything, in the midst of all 
   1.467 +this. "What's going on?" she asked as she turned around. The 
   1.468 +other girl was gone. In her place was ChibiUsa's kitten, sitting 
   1.469 +exactly where Diana had been a moment ago.
   1.470 +
   1.471 +"Hi!" The kitten said, smiling up at Momoko.
   1.472 +
   1.473 +Momoko took a step back. This was really starting to freak her 
   1.474 +out. "You talked," she barely managed to say.
   1.475 +

   1.479 +"Diana?" Momoko knew that the girl she'd met and ChibiUsa's 
   1.480 +kitten were both named Diana, but she hadn't realized the 
   1.481 +significance of that till now. "You're her?"

   1.483 +The kitten nodded. "Yeah. That's my human form." She stuck 
   1.484 +out her tongue. "I told you. And I am from the future."

   1.486 +Momoko blinked a couple times. She felt faint. This just 
   1.487 +wasn't possible. Cats didn't talk. And girls didn't have tails or 
   1.488 +change into cats. Then again, she had been attacked by a 
   1.489 +lemure who was after her dream mirror a couple years back. 
   1.490 +She'd been saved by Sailormoon and Sailorchibimoon. So 
   1.491 +strange things had happened to her before. This wasn't too 
   1.492 +much stranger, was it?

   1.494 +"Momo-chan?" Diana asked, still in her kitten form. "Are you 
   1.495 +okay?"

   1.497 +"I'm... I'm fine," Momoko said. She sat down on the bed by 
   1.498 +Diana. Momoko and the kitten sat in uneasy silence for a 
   1.499 +moment. As Momoko thought about what this meant if Diana 
   1.500 +was ChibiUsa's kitten, a sudden realization donned on her. 
   1.501 +"Diana, if you're the kitten I've been talking to, then you were 
   1.502 +here in my room the night of the dance, right?"

   1.504 +"Yeah," Diana said reluctantly.

   1.506 +"Then you heard what I said about your human form?" 
   1.507 +Momoko said nervously.

   1.509 +Diana didn't say anything for a moment. "Yes," she said 
   1.510 +quietly. Momoko blushed deeply and looked away. A hand on 
   1.511 +her arm turned her around to face Diana, now as a human. 
   1.512 +"You don't know how much it meant to me when I heard you 
   1.513 +say how you felt about me. I've been in love with you for so 
   1.514 +long, but I never said anything because you only thought I was 
   1.515 +a kitten. That night, dancing with you, talking, hearing you say 
   1.516 +you loved me, was the best night of my life." Diana smiled 
   1.517 +brightly, her eyes misting up with tears. Momoko looked on in 
   1.518 +alarm. "I'll always remember that night. But you didn't know 
   1.519 +who I really was. That wasn't fair of me. Arigato, Momo-
   1.520 +chan." Diana stood up and wiped some tears from her eyes
   1.521 +before turning to leave.

   1.523 +Momoko got in front of Diana before she could reach the 
   1.524 +door. "Diana, wait." She put her hands on the other girls 
   1.525 +shoulders and looked deep into her eyes. "What I said that 
   1.526 +night, I meant all of it. You're right, I didn't know that the 
   1.527 +kitten I was telling it to and the girl I was talking about were 
   1.528 +the same person, but that doesn't matter. It doesn't change 
   1.529 +anything. I meant every word of it, Diana. I love you." Diana's 
   1.530 +mouth opened slightly, but nothing came out. She couldn't 
   1.531 +think of anything to say. She didn't have to. Momoko pulled 
   1.532 +Diana closer and kissed her. Diana gasped as she felt the 
   1.533 +lavender haired girl's lips pressed against her own. Momoko's 
   1.534 +eyes closed as she felt Diana kissing her back. Both girls
   1.535 +were nervous about what lay ahead, but they felt safe in each 
   1.536 +others' arms and that was all that mattered.

   1.543 +ChibiUsa and Hotaru plopped back down on the soft bed in 
   1.544 +Hotaru's room. ChibiUsa had bought a beautiful new dress and 
   1.545 +hair bows for herself. She'd even bought a new ribbon for her 
   1.546 +kitten. It was purple with two cute bells for Diana. Then the 
   1.547 +realization hit her like a tidal wave. She bolted up off the
   1.548 +bed and stared at Hotaru with wide eyes.

   1.550 +"What is it ChibiUsa?" she asked worried that something was 
   1.551 +wrong.

   1.553 +"Diana! I forgot Diana at the Crown with Momoko!" she 
   1.554 +yelled with a hushed harsh tone. She jumped up to run to the 
   1.555 +door and was stopped by Hotaru's hand.

   1.557 +"It's been three hours Odango-chan," Hotaru whispered, "Do 
   1.558 +you really think that Momoko and Diana are at the Crown at 
   1.559 +this time?"

   1.561 +"No but I can go to Momoko's. I'm sure Momoko wouldn't let 
   1.562 +her stay at the Crown by herself!"

   1.564 +"But..." They would have continued the little conversation if 
   1.565 +Michiru hadn't knocked on the door just then.

   1.567 +"ChibiUsa there's a girl at the door wanting to speak to you. 
   1.568 +She's seems very distraught." ChibiUsa stared at the elder 
   1.569 +senshi and then she looked at Hotaru. They both bolted for the 
   1.570 +door and dashed down the stairs in record time. They where 
   1.571 +greeted by the vision of Momoko holding Diana in her hands 
   1.572 +they both turned to each other and then they to Momoko.

   1.574 +"Small Lady who is this girl?" Haruka asked clasping her arm 
   1.575 +around Michiru's waist. She pulled Michiru closer and looked 
   1.576 +at Hotaru and ChibiUsa with a parental glare.

   1.578 +"My name is Momoko, and I am ChibiUsa and Hotaru's 
   1.579 +school friend. I do know how late it is but you see they forgot 
   1.580 +Diana and I wanted to give her back. I also wanted to talk to 
   1.581 +them very briefly." Harkua nodded her approval but didn't
   1.582 +let ChibiUsa and Hotaru know that they where off the hook. 
   1.583 +She ushered Michiru into the next room leaving the girls 
   1.584 +alone.

   1.586 +"Thank you for caring for Diana for me Momo-chan," 
   1.587 +ChibiUsa said reaching for Diana. She was surprised when the 
   1.588 +kitten didn't jump into her arms. Instead the kitten remained 
   1.589 +with the lavender haired girl purring contently. She looked
   1.590 +to ChibiUsa and said with a very serious glaze.

   1.592 +"She already knows about me Small Lady."

   1.594 +"Diana!" Hotaru exclaimed clasping a hand around her mouth. 
   1.595 +Momoko only smiled and nodded.

   1.597 +"Yes I know all about you Sailorchibimoon, Sailorsaturn." 
   1.598 +Momoko said, "It was a very long story but it was worth it. I 
   1.599 +can understand why you've kept it a secret. I’m just 
   1.600 +disappointed that you couldn't tell me a little sooner."

   1.602 +"But...but why Diana?" ChibiUsa stammered, "Do you know 
   1.603 +how much trouble you've just gotten us into? What danger 
   1.604 +you've put us in?"

   1.606 +"What danger?" Momoko asked, "I should of known, besides 
   1.607 +it shouldn't of been Diana that told me this. It should have 
   1.608 +been you and Hotaru. Why didn't you tell me you two were in 
   1.609 +love?" Hotaru took a step back and sat down in the couch.

   1.611 +"That's what bugs you the most?" she asked, "That Odango-
   1.612 +chan and I didn't tell you we where in love? Not that we

   1.615 +"Were what?" Momoko asked, "Sailor Senshi? No, that secret 
   1.616 +I understand. The being in love one I don't. I have been your 
   1.617 +friend for years now, ChibiUsa. You should have trusted me.

   1.621 +"Secret?" ChibiUsa asked looking to Momoko and Diana. 
   1.622 +Searching their faces for the answer and coming up with 
   1.623 +nothing. She sat next to Hotaru and took her hand

   1.626 +"You tell them, Diana." Momoko said watching Diana leap off 
   1.627 +of her head and patter down to the floor. Then she saw Diana 
   1.628 +change into her human form, take her hand into her own and 
   1.629 +smile to ChibiUsa and Hotaru.

   1.631 +"We're an item!" she said with childish glee. Her face lighting 
   1.632 +up into a thousand little bulbs. The two girls sat in amazement, 
   1.633 +the whole ordeal not really registering.

   1.635 +"Momo-chan," Haruka's voice interrupted. "Would you like to 
   1.636 +stay with us tonight?" Hotaru looked to her parents in the 
   1.637 +doorway. The green-haired women and her blonde haired 
   1.638 +lover looking at the two couples, smiling happily.

   1.640 +"Here, Haruka-papa, Michiru-mama?" Hotaru asked. "But..."

   1.642 +"You have a true friend here Hotaru." Michiru said in her sing-
   1.643 +song voice. "It isn't everyday you find someone in the same 
   1.644 +situation that you are both in. Or that understands the two of 
   1.645 +you so well. You have both found someone who is accepting 
   1.646 +you for who you are. For who you've become, it's a special 
   1.647 +gift. You should embrace it." Hotaru looked to ChibiUsa
   1.648 +and felt a great weight lifted off of her. The dream of her not 
   1.649 +having to hide the fact that she was in love with ChibiUsa was 
   1.650 +coming true. She didn't have to hide in her own home, and 
   1.651 +now she didn't have to hide it from Diana and Momoko. She 
   1.652 +smiled with a beam and took ChibiUsa's hand into her own.

   1.654 +"Your right Michiru-mama," Hotaru said, kissing ChibiUsa in

   1.664 +amongst the two girls that had been their dear friends for so 
   1.665 +long. The feeling was soaring, but the change was also filled 
   1.666 +with surprises. ChibiUsa was met with more kisses then she 
   1.667 +could handle, and she was able to lay into Hotaru's embrace
   1.668 +for longer periods of time then she was used to. The smiles on 
   1.669 +Diana and Momoko's faces, both pleased and happy, gave her 
   1.670 +an easy feeling.

   1.673 +telling just a few people,' ChibiUsa thought, 'I would have 
   1.674 +done it a long time ago.'  Hotaru smiled and kissed her again.
