     1.7 +Early the next morning, Hotaru was already up and starring out her
     1.8 +window. "It's so beautiful," she thought looking at the sunrise. She
     1.9 +walked over to the bed got her cloths, put them on, and left her
    1.10 +room. She considered that sitting in the rose garden would be the
    1.11 +best pleases to view the rest of the sunrise. 
    1.12 +She would sometime spin time with the Queen and her mother working
    1.13 +in the garden. 
    1.14 +When she got to her distention she sat down on the bench. 
    1.15 +She looked at the pink rose that Rini and she planted the other day.
    1.16 +"I wish she was here with me," She thought with a sigh. As if on
    1.17 +que, she heard someone running up to her. She turned her head to see
    1.18 +a pink haired woman running towards her.
    1.19 +  As Rini ran up to the Palace she saw her best friend setting by
    1.20 +herself.
    1.21 +"What is Hotaru doing?" she wondered as she stopped in front of her.
    1.22 +"Good morning, Hotaru," Rini said.
    1.23 +"Oh, good morning Princess,"Hotaru answered getting up and bowing to
    1.24 +her.
    1.25 +"What are you looking at?"She inquired has she scanned the area for
    1.26 +the point of inertest.
    1.27 +"I'm watching the sunrise. Would you like to join me? She asked
    1.28 +moving over to the side so there is room for her to set down. The
    1.29 +princess just nodded and sat down. The two young ladies just sat here
    1.30 +is silence watching the beauty in the sky. The sun was making all the
    1.31 +roses sparkle like a light hitting a chandelier.
    1.32 +
    1.33 +"My ladies, your breakfast is ready," voiced the maid gazing down
    1.34 +into the gardens. The two looked up and smiled.
    1.35 +"Thank you, we'll be right in," replied Rini then glanced over at
    1.36 +her friend.  "She has really pretty eyes," she thought. Hotaru got
    1.37 +up, turned to the Princess, and noticed that she was being looked at. 
    1.38 +"Why, is she starring at me like that?" she wondered just then they
    1.39 +hared a rumble.
    1.40 +Rini looked down at her tummy, then back at Hotaru, and smiled. They
    1.41 +both started to laugh.
    1.42 +"Oh, sorry come on lets get going," the Princess replied walking
    1.43 +back into the Palace.
    1.44 +Hotaru just followed beside her. They stopped once at Rini's room,
    1.45 +so she could put some different pair of clothes on. As she was
    1.46 +putting on her clothes her thought stated to wander. ("Why was I
    1.47 +starring at her like that"?) She when walked out of her room.
    1.48 +On the way to the dinning room they ran into Diana and Momoko coming
    1.49 +out of the library with their hair all messed up. The girls stopped
    1.50 +and looked at the lovebirds. 
    1.51 +"What were you guys up to?" asked Rini trying to keep a straight
    1.52 +face. Diana and Momoko got very red.
    1.53 +Hotaru and Rini couldn't keep it in any longer they busted out in a
    1.54 +fit of laughter. About a minute later the two friends stopped
    1.55 +laughing, and looked back at the newly engaged pair.
    1.56 +"Sorry about that," apologize Hotaru.
    1.57 +"I'm sorry, too. Come on, we need to get to the dinning room before
    1.58 +all the food is gone," replied Rini.
    1.59 +"Ya, before our sweet lovely Princess gets really hungry gets really
    1.60 +hungry," Hotaru voiced with a little smile to the princess, started
    1.61 +to walk past her, and down the hall.
    1.62 +Diana and Momoko just giggled walking past Rini, who had very
    1.63 +schlock face. She so followed her friends.
    1.64 +"Why dose Hotaru make me blush when she says things like that," Rini
    1.65 +thought.
    1.66 +As they entered the dinning room, they took their sets and started
    1.67 +to eat their breakfast. As everyone was talking amongst, Rini was in
    1.68 +deep thought.
    1.69 +"Why is this bothering me, it's not like she likes me," "Or is it
    1.70 +that I like her? Why are my thoughts so consumed by her?"  She
    1.71 +sighed. Her mother caught it and turned to her daughter.
    1.72 +"Rini is everything alright?"
    1.73 +Rini just gave a little smile saying that she was fine.
    1.74 +                                     
    1.75 +After breakfast Rini, Diana, and Trista went to the study to look
    1.76 +over some paper work dealing with the crystals. As they entered, they
    1.77 +saw Amy peering at the some book.
    1.78 +"Hello Amy," Diana said going up to her
    1.79 +"Hello," Amy said not looking up from her book. Rini sat down,
    1.80 +grabbed a book, and started to look through it.
    1.81 +"From what we knew, they have side affects, and that Hotaru is
    1.82 +having dreams about them," Trista informed them.
    1.83 +"Are you saying that my best friend is having dreams similar to the
    1.84 +ones that my father had previously?" asked Rini looking up at Trista.
    1.85 +"Yes" 
    1.86 +                     
    1.87 +While walking around to the mall, Hotaru, Michelle, and Darien were
    1.88 +trying to think of something to get Rini and Helios for there wedding.
    1.89 +"I can't believe that our little princess is getting married,"
    1.90 +Michelle said.
    1.91 +"I knew, am so happy for them," Hotaru replied.
    1.92 +"I don't know, I think that Helios isn't supposed to marry my
    1.93 +daughter," replied the King.
    1.94 +"Why?" asked Michelle while looking at a dress in the window display
    1.95 +walked by.
    1.96 +"I just have this feeling in my soul that there is someone better
    1.97 +then Helios," he replied.
    1.98 +"How could that be?" Hotaru asked.
    1.99 +"I have an idea, that it's someone very close to her."
   1.100 +"Well anyway I think we better get to the mall before it gets too
   1.101 +late," Michelle suggested.
   1.102 +"Right," the other two said.
   1.103 +As they got closer to the mall, Hotaru was thinking, flashes of her
   1.104 +dream went though her head. "Hotaru help me!" someone yelled in side
   1.105 +her head. At the very same time, Hotaru screamed in pain holding her
   1.106 +head. Her body started to fall to the ground, but Darien caught her. 
   1.107 +"Hotaru, are alright?" Michelle asked with a worried tone.
   1.108 +A man in his late twenties came out of the one of the stores, and
   1.109 +ran into them. People started too gathered around.
   1.110 + "Oh, I'm sorry about that," he replied with a little bow, then
   1.111 +walked away. Hotaru gazed up and saw the crystal in his eyes. The
   1.112 +crystal was a dark red, like blood.
   1.113 +"Mother, he…. has… a…. crystal," she whispered before she passed out.
   1.114 +Darien and Michelle looked over to the man that just walked in to
   1.115 +them. They looked at one another, and nodded.
   1.116 +"Michelle, take her back to the palace, and then tell my wife what
   1.117 +happened here," Darien ordered her, and started to walk off in the
   1.118 +direction the man went.
   1.119 +She nodded, picked up her daughter, and turned towards the palace.
   1.120 +When she got to the palace she put Hotaru in her room, and then went
   1.121 +to tell the Queen.
   1.122 +
   1.123 +Hotaru was looking around. "Where am I?"
   1.124 +"Hotaru, you alright?" asked a soft voice. Hotaru looked around, and
   1.125 +found the person that was talking to her. It was Sailor Saturn.
   1.126 +Hotaru couldn't do anything; she just sat there looking at herself.
   1.127 + "It's ok Hotaru, I won't heart you," holding her hand out to help
   1.128 +her up. Hotaru took her hand and got up.
   1.129 +"What's going on here, why do you look like me?"
   1.130 +"I look like you because I am you; your sailor part."
   1.131 +"Oh…. Why? Did I pass out?"
   1.132 + "I think it was the crystal, but from what I can tell we're alright."
   1.133 +"Well, that's good." Hotaru said looking around to see were she was.
   1.134 +"Hotaru!" a voice was heard. Saturn looked around trying to find out
   1.135 +were the voice was coming from. She held Hotaru protectively.
   1.136 +"It's Rini." with shock in her voice
   1.137 +"Yes, the Princess, I think you have better get up, see what is
   1.138 +going on, and remember if you need to talk just think of me and I'll
   1.139 +be here."
   1.140 +"Right"
   1.141 +"Don't worry, Rini, she'll wake up soon," Trista said.
   1.142 +"It's mother," Hotaru said.
   1.143 +"We need to wake up," replied Saturn hugging Hotaru. They both
   1.144 +closed their eyes. When she opened her eyes this time she saw that
   1.145 +she was in her room. She looked around to see Trista, and Princess
   1.146 +Rini talking about something at the end of her bed.
   1.147 + The Princess turn her head to the right to see her friend getting
   1.148 +off her bed, she walked really fast over to her ,and gave her a hug,
   1.149 +She was thanking God that she was safe, healthy, and awake.
   1.150 +"Taru-Chan, are you feeling better?"
   1.151 +She nodded, "What's up with the nickname?"  Hotaru thought as she
   1.152 +hugged back

   1.154 +At the other end of the city, Darien followed the man to the beach
   1.155 +were he stopped.
   1.156 +"What do you what?" he asked
   1.157 +"What is you name?" Darien asked taking out a red rose from is coat.
   1.158 +"Zack" turning around to see a while flash, he closed his eyes from
   1.159 +the light.
   1.160 +When the light dimmed down, The King of Crystal Tokyo was standing
   1.161 +there.
   1.162 +"My King" he said bowed down.
   1.163 +"Zack, there is something I need form you."
   1.164 +I knew what you asking of me," (he pauses for a moment) "the crystal."
   1.165 +The King just looks on in shock. "How do you..."
   1.166 +"My mother told me, before she died, she said that she been having a
   1.167 +repeating dream," (he turned back around) "There's this woman with
   1.168 +long pink hair standing next to my mother and telling her that her
   1.169 +son will have one of the seven Dark Rainbow Crystals, but only
   1.170 +Princess Saturn could have it."
   1.171 +The King pondered. The realization that Rini and Hotaru could both
   1.172 +be connected to possession of the crystals began to set in his mind.
   1.173 +The sickening feeling that his only daughter could be in peril seeped
   1.174 +into the king's soul; the link between Rini and Hotaru, to the
   1.175 +crystals alluded and deeply troubled him.
   1.176 +"Honey!" someone yelled from behind them. They turned around to see
   1.177 +the queen running up to them, with Neptune, Uranus, and Mercury just
   1.178 +behind her.
   1.179 +"Darien, are you alright?" "I came as soon as I heard from Neptune."
   1.180 +"I'm fine, but we have a problem, Saturn is the only one that can
   1.181 +have the crystal."
   1.182 +"Why Hotaru?" asked Neptune. She could feel sadness deep down in her
   1.183 +that her only daughter is in danger again.
   1.184 +"From what I can tell; Saturn is linked to this crystal, I'm certain
   1.185 +of that," Darien said.
   1.186 +"He's right, we need Saturn here, or we would able to get it,"
   1.187 +Mercury said while tipping on her mini computer.
   1.188 +"Are you certain, Mercury?" asked the Queen.
   1.189 +"Very certain," she replied.
   1.190 +"I'll call her," the King said taking is cell out.
   1.191 +
   1.192 +Hotaru was in her office looking out the window. She just got done
   1.193 +talking to the King, saying that they need her to come to the beach
   1.194 +on the west side of the city. She didn't know why, but said that she
   1.195 +would be there as soon as she could.
   1.196 +  "Why me?" she though at the sometime there was a knock at the door
   1.197 +taking. This took her out of her thoughts.
   1.198 +"Come in." The door opened, and a woman about 28 years old came in.
   1.199 +She had a greenish-black dress on, with black hair and a long ponytail
   1.200 +"Hello, Seiya,"
   1.201 +"Ya, How is very thing going?" as she sat down. The room was about
   1.202 +the size of a small classroom. It had two big windows on both sides
   1.203 +of the room, and about eighty different lamps.
   1.204 +I'm alright; I got a call from the King. He asked me to come to the
   1.205 +west side of the city, something about the crystal."
   1.206 +Seiya looked a little worried about this, she had heard about the
   1.207 +crystals from Trista, and didn't like were this was going. What mad
   1.208 +this even more upsetting was the idea that she couldn't help.
   1.209 +"I'm not sure what to say."
   1.210 +"You don't have to worry Seiya-mama, but if you would like to come
   1.211 +with me, I wouldn't mind."
   1.212 +She was glad that she could help with something.
   1.213 +"Well take our car, if you would like," a voice said from behind
   1.214 +them. The two turned around to see who it was.
   1.215 +"Thanks mother," replied Hotaru with a smile, she was happy to have
   1.216 +a caring family. She walked over to her desk to get her coat and back
   1.217 +to her mothers. Then the trio went out the door.
   1.218 +As the three to the car, a white convertible rolled up next to them.
   1.219 +The doors opened, Rini and Helios came out.
   1.220 +"Where are you guys off too?" asked Rini walking around the car a
   1.221 +stand next to her fiancé.
   1.222 +"Your father called and need to see Hotaru right away," Trista told
   1.223 +her, then got it to the front seat of the car.
   1.224 +"Later guys," Seiya said while getting into the driver seat and
   1.225 +closed the door. Hotaru just got in and closed the door, and they
   1.226 +took off. As soon as the car was out of sight, Rini let go of Helios.
   1.227 +He looked at her.
   1.228 +"I'm going; I need to speak with my mother about something." She
   1.229 +kisses him and walking in to the Palace. He just nodded, got back
   1.230 +into the car, and drove off.
   1.231 + As Rini walked down the hall to her mother's office, she ran into
   1.232 +Venus, and her little girl.
   1.233 +"Well, hello Venus, and you too Dainae" Dainae was eight year old.
   1.234 +She has blond hair like her mother. She is wearing a blue spaghetti
   1.235 +strap dress with little pink rose all around it.
   1.236 +"Hello Princess, we're you off too?" asked Venus holding onto
   1.237 +Dainae's hand.
   1.238 + "I'm on my way too see my mother, I need to speck to her."
   1.239 +"Oh, I think your mother told me that she heard from Neptune that
   1.240 +they were going to the west side beach."
   1.241 +"Why did she go there?"
   1.242 +"I think it was because they found the first crystal." "I think its
   1.243 +time for a nap," Venus said in low voice looking down at a tired
   1.244 +little girl, who was falling asleep. "I'm going to get this little
   1.245 +one to bed, I'll talk to you later Princess," She said walking way.
   1.246 +
   1.247 +Rini just stand there thinking to herself. Then it hit her, wasn't
   1.248 +that were Hotaru was going with Trista, and Seiya. She ran to her
   1.249 +room, got her keys, got on her motorcycle, and drove off as fast as
   1.250 +she could go.
   1.251 +"I'm coming Taru-chan." At the same time she transformed into her
   1.252 +sailor uniform.
   1.253 +
   1.254 +  Darien turned his head when he heard a car stop. Three females got
   1.255 +out of the car and approached them.
   1.256 +"Is that they guy?" asked Trista looking right a Zack.
   1.257 +"Yes" 
   1.258 +Zack turned around, looked right at Hotaru, "I knew she come."
   1.259 +He walked up to her and held his hand out to her. Hotaru just looked
   1.260 +at him then at the hand, and back at him.
   1.261 +"Please, take my hand Saturn, it's the only way."
   1.262 +She nodded and slowly gave him her hand. As she took his hand his
   1.263 +body started to get very hot, it was even turning sand into to glass.
   1.264 +Then with a blinding light the body was gone and the blood crystal
   1.265 +fell into Hotaru's hand. At that very moment Rini rode up, she
   1.266 +shielded her eyes form the light, as she got off her bike, and ran
   1.267 +over to her parents.
   1.268 +"What happened." She asked approaching them.
   1.269 +"I don't know," answered her mother.
   1.270 +As the light dimmed down, they all say that Hotaru was on her knees.
   1.271 +Rini toke off to see if her friend was alright.
   1.272 +"Taru-chan, you alright?"
   1.273 +"Rini, we're you, I can't see you?" she asked looking left and right.
   1.274 +"What are you talking about?" "I'm right in front of you." Then she
   1.275 +scanned her friend's body for any ingress, and notices at that her
   1.276 +eyes were a milky white color.
   1.277 +Hotaru moved her hands and touched her friends face. Rini just
   1.278 +looked at her, she couldn't take it any more.
   1.279 +"Mercury, get over here now!" The other ran over to them. Rini help
   1.280 +Hotaru to her feet.
   1.281 +"What happened?" asked Mercury looking at Hotaru
   1.282 +"Well, other then I can't see a thing, I feel find," Hotaru said
   1.283 +turning her head to everyone. The shock went though everyone.
   1.284 +"Would you stop panicking, you're starting to scare me."
   1.285 +"Kitten…." Uranus started then stops.
   1.286 +"I can feel you guys looking at me," she answered
   1.287 +"Mercury, what do you think?" asked the King
   1.288 +"It's the side effect from the crystal, I tell you that much." She
   1.289 +said scanning the crystal in Hotaru's hand.
   1.290 +"Do you knew how long it will last?" asked the Queen.
   1.291 +"It's hard to tell, I don't have all the information at this time to
   1.292 +say," she replied.
   1.293 +"Well, we better get you home Hotaru," said Neptune taking her
   1.294 +daughter to the car and driving home.
   1.295 +"You coming Rini?" asked her mother
   1.296 +"I think I'm going to stay here a while ok," she replied turning
   1.297 +started to walk down the beach
   1.298 +"Alright, but done be to long dear," and walked back to her car.
   1.299 +
   1.300 +  As Rini walked down the beach, she could feel the wind blowing
   1.301 +past her. She stops and looked out at the sea. The feel she was
   1.302 +getting was different and new to her. 
   1.303 +"What is this feeling?"
   1.304 +"What are you doing out her, by yourself?" asked a person. Rini
   1.305 +looked beside her; it was a little girl about ten years old with dark
   1.306 +eyes, and long black hair. She wears a blue dress with a white hat.
   1.307 +"What are you doing?" she asked again.
   1.308 +"Just thing"
   1.309 +"About what?"
   1.310 +"You're a curious little kitten, aren't you?" The little girl just
   1.311 +looked up and smiled.
   1.312 +"You look upset?"
   1.313 +"You could say that" she kneeled down "What's your name?"
   1.314 +"Oh, sorry about that, my name is Sierra," she answered with a
   1.315 +little curtsy.
   1.316 +"Well Sierra, I have a friend that just lost her sight."
   1.317 +"Oh, is she alright?"
   1.318 +"I hope so."
   1.319 +"Shouldn't you be with her, it's seem that you really care about her."
   1.320 +"I wanted to, but…"
   1.321 +"What are you afraid of, it's not like you're in love with her?" "I
   1.322 +mean you have Helios." "Do you really need her in your life?"
   1.323 +"What did you just say?" Rini asked turning her head to Sierra, but
   1.324 +she wasn't there.
   1.325 +Rini looked around but couldn't find her.
   1.326 +"Where did she go?" After about a minute she got back on her bike,
   1.327 +and rode home.
   1.328 +
   1.329 +  On the other side of the city, Sierra walked in to the park, and
   1.330 +sat next to the lake, and looked up at the stars. They looked like
   1.331 +little fireflies dancing around.
   1.332 +"There really pretty aren't they?" A woman said walking up to
   1.333 +Sierra. She looked to be in her middle twenties with long hair, and
   1.334 +violet eyes. She sat down, and looks up at the stars with Sierra.
   1.335 +"They say that if you see a shooting star and the first person that
   1.336 +you think of will become your soul mate."
   1.337 +"Do you really believe that mother?" she asked as she lied down on
   1.338 +her mother's lap.
   1.339 +Her mother didn't say any thing just looked up at eh stars. Sierra
   1.340 +looked up; she could see the pain in her mother's eyes, as if a knife
   1.341 +was digging into her heart really slowly. She knew her mother has
   1.342 +been trying for years to see a shooting star. A tear hit her face.
   1.343 +She looked up and saw her mother crying. It was something that she
   1.344 +had to get use to. She that is way she sworn that she would kill them
   1.345 +for what they did.
