    1.11 +        The music was playing softly and there were two shadowed bodies 
    1.12 +sitting by the fireplace.  The two bodies just sat there holding one 
    1.13 +another.  One of the bodies had it's hair up in buns, while the other had 
    1.14 +it's hair down.  It looked around shoulder length.
    1.15 +
    1.16 +        (Where is this place?  I've never seen this place before.  Does this 
    1.17 +mean that something different is going to happen?)
    1.18 +
    1.19 +        Suddenly the music stopped and a loud and horrible laughter begun.  
    1.20 +Then, without warning, the person with shoulder length hair began to glow.  
    1.21 +As the person glowed, it also began to shrink.  The laughter just kept 
    1.22 +getting louder and louder as the person just kept getting smaller and 
    1.23 +smaller.  Soon the person disappeared and then the laughter stopped.  The 
    1.24 +room then vanished and the person with their hair in buns was all alone in 
    1.25 +darkness.

    1.27 +        "Hotaru!," the person screamed, "Don't leave me!  Hotaru!"
    1.28 +
    1.29 +        (Hotaru!  NO!!!  Come back!  Hotaru!  I need you here with me!)

    1.31 +        "Hotaru!  I'm scared!  Please come back and help me!
    1.32 +
    1.33 +        (Hotaru, I miss you.)

    1.35 +        "Hotaru, I... love you."

    1.37 +        ChibiUsa then snapped up panting and sweating.  Her heart was 
    1.38 +racing.  It had been the same reaccuring dream or nightmare as she called 
    1.39 +it, the only difference this time, was the room.  She sat there alone in the 
    1.40 +dark for the rest of the night, afraid that if she fell back to sleep, she 
    1.41 +would have the nightmare again.

    1.45 +        The following morning was like any other, Usagi's alarm clock was 
    1.46 +blasting and the rays of sunlight were beaming down on her face through the 
    1.47 +blinds.  The aroma of a freshly cooked breakfast was fastly filling the air. 
    1.48 +  Sitting at the dinner table, ChibiUsa wasn't in too happy of a mood.  The 
    1.49 +nightmare kept her up all night and Ikuko has started to notice.
    1.50 +
    1.51 +        "Is that nightmare getting at you, hon?"
    1.52 +
    1.53 +        "Huh?  Oh, yeah."
    1.54 +
    1.55 +        "You care to tell me about it?"
    1.56 +
    1.57 +        "I'd rather not.  There's someone else that I need to talk to it 
    1.58 +about."
    1.59 +
    1.60 +        "Ok but just be sure to talk to someone about it."

    1.62 +        "I will.  Thank you."

    1.64 +        After this ChibiUsa finished her breakfast and readied herself for 
    1.65 +school.

    1.69 +        "Hotaru, wait up!" ChibiUsa called out in the hallway.
    1.70 +
    1.71 +        Hotaru tunred around with a smile, greeting ChibiUsa.  ChibiUsa 
    1.72 +couldn't help but to notice Hotaru.  The young girl was wearing a black 
    1.73 +babydoll size tank and a short pair of jean shorts that end at half thigh.  
    1.74 +ChibiUsa caught herself and stopped before Hotaru noticed.
    1.75 +
    1.76 +        "ChibiUsa!  My birthday is in a week.  I hope you'll come over and 
    1.77 +spend some time with me.  You can come over and have supper with us."
    1.78 +
    1.79 +        "Of course I will.  I wouldn't turn down an offer to spend time with 
    1.80 +you, silly."
    1.81 +
    1.82 +        Hotaru just smiled with joy.  She was so happy that her only real 
    1.83 +friend was going to be with her on her birthday.

    1.87 +        ChibiUsa spent the rest of the day trying to decide how she could 
    1.88 +tell Hotaru about her dream and how she felt.  Then she decided, she would 
    1.89 +tell her on her birthday.

    1.91 +        'Do I want to do anything or do I just want to ignore my feelings?  
    1.92 +How could I even begain to tell her how I feel?  I want to do something 
    1.93 +special for her birthday but what?'
    1.94 +
    1.95 +        By the end of the day ChibiUsa had done more serious thinking in 
    1.96 +that one day than she ever has in her whole life.  Finally she decided that 
    1.97 +she would take Hotaru on a picnic and tell her everything.  She still needed 
    1.98 +some time to plan out all the other details.
    1.99 +
   1.100 +        The next day ChibiUsa spent most of the day dreaming about what she 
   1.101 +would say to Hotaru.  She not only thought about what she would say but 
   1.102 +imagined all of the possible responses.  She liked some better than others.

   1.106 +        Slowly the days passed by and Hotaru's birthday was now only a day 
   1.107 +away.  ChibiUsa started to get her things together so that she could spend 
   1.108 +the next day with her best friend.  She had never been more nervous nor 
   1.109 +excited in her life.
   1.110 +
   1.111 +        That night ChibiUsa couldn't sleep.  Not because of the nightmare 
   1.112 +but because of her excitment.  She couldn't wait to tell Hotaru how she 
   1.113 +felt.  She prayed that Hotaru would tell her that she felt the same way 
   1.114 +about her.  The night hours slowly dragged on and ChibiUsa fell asleep and 
   1.115 +dreamt.

   1.119 +        It was a warm evening and the sun was begining to set.  Two shadowed 
   1.120 +figures sat on the grass and had thier backs agianst a tree.  You could 
   1.121 +easily tell that the two shadowed figures were both female from curves of 
   1.122 +thier bodies.  One leaned over to the other and gave her a soft kiss on the 
   1.123 +lips.  As they parted it became clear who they were.  Both had thier hair 
   1.124 +down.  One was Hotaru, the other was ChibiUsa.  Hotaru smiled and blushed 
   1.125 +then slowly she leaned over to ChibiUsa and began to kiss her softly and 
   1.126 +held her in her arms.  As the kiss went on Hotaru slipped ChibiUsa her 
   1.127 +tongue.  Shocked and caught off gaurd by this, ChibiUsa let out a soft moan. 
   1.128 +  When the kiss ended they both smiled and blushed.  ChibiUsa took hold of 
   1.129 +Hotaru and guided her to the ground and ran her hands over her body.  
   1.130 +ChibiUsa, then, went to lie down beside her laying her head on Hotaru's 
   1.131 +cheast and placing her hand on Hotaru's breast.  ChibiUsa started to tease 
   1.132 +her a little.

   1.136 +        The alarm clock started buzzing and ChibiUsa woke up, annoyed that 
   1.137 +it was only a dream.
   1.138 +
   1.139 +        'If only it had been real.' she thought to herself.  When she got 
   1.140 +out of bed she noticed a stain on the sheets and looked down to see that she 
   1.141 +was wet.  Upon noticing this she smiled and wondered how Hotaru would react.

   1.143 +        "Today's the day.  I gotta make this work.  I just have to."
   1.144 +

   1.147 +        It started out like any normal Friday.  There was no School that day 
   1.148 +because of Teacher planning.  ChibiUsa finished wrapping the gift that she 
   1.149 +had gotten Hotaru.
   1.150 +
   1.151 +        It was around noon when ChibiUsa went over to Hotaru's house.  She 
   1.152 +was set to be there for the day and night if Hotaru didn't turn her away.  
   1.153 +She wasn't sure how she was gonna get Haruka and Michiru to leave them alone 
   1.154 +long enough for her to do what she wanted.  She thought hard about what she 
   1.155 +could do while she walked to Hotaru's house.  When she got there sure 
   1.156 +enough, Michiru answered the door.  Haruka wasn't there though.
   1.157 +
   1.158 +        "Michiru, where is Haruka at?" ChibiUsa inquired.
   1.159 +
   1.160 +        "She is out getting some things for Hotaru's party.  Some last 
   1.161 +minute pick up's.  Why do you ask?"
   1.162 +
   1.163 +        "No reason, I was just wondering.  I figured that you two would have 
   1.164 +started something by now."
   1.165 +
   1.166 +        "No not yet.  We have something special planned for her so we want 
   1.167 +to have everything perfect."
   1.168 +
   1.169 +        "Really?  I have something special planned for her too.  If you 
   1.170 +wouldn't mind I would like to do it with her alone.  It's kind of 
   1.171 +embarrassing for me so..."
   1.172 +
   1.173 +        "I understand.  I'll talk to Haruka about it but I'm sure we can do 
   1.174 +that for you."
   1.175 +
   1.176 +        "Thank you." ChibiUsa said and smiled.

   1.180 +        Michiru and Haruka were setting things up and told ChibiUsa that she 
   1.181 +and Hotaru could go off and do whatever while they worked on the 
   1.182 +decorations.  ChibiUsa saw this as the perfect time to make her move.

   1.184 +        "Hotaru, I know of a really nice place in the park, lets go there.  
   1.185 +I have a couple of things that I want to give you."
   1.186 +
   1.187 +        ChibiUsa had her backpack with her and had a few things with her.  
   1.188 +She led Hotaru to a secluded place in the woods beside the park.
   1.189 +
   1.190 +        "This place is really beautiful ChibiUsa.  Thank you for bringing me 
   1.191 +here."
   1.192 +
   1.193 +        "Hotaru I want to go ahead and give you my gifts."
   1.194 +
   1.195 +        Hotaru nodded and ChibiUsa opened her bag and pulled out a small 
   1.196 +package and a larger package.  Hotaru opened the smaller package first.  It 
   1.197 +was a cd that was imported from America.  It was a group called Savage 
   1.198 +Garden.  This was thier fave. American band.  Next she opened the larger 
   1.199 +package.  It was a big teddy bear.  It looked just like her old bear.  She 
   1.200 +would still have it if the school bullies hadn't messed it up.

   1.202 +        "Thank you ChibiUsa!" Hotaru said, beaming with joy.  She then gave 
   1.203 +ChibiUsa a big long hug.  ChibiUsa took this oppertunity and as Hotaru 
   1.204 +loosened the hug she turned her face to where they were face to face and 
   1.205 +ChibiUsa gave her a quick peck on the lips.  ChibiUsa was red with 
   1.206 +embarrassment.  Hotaru just sat there motionless and speechless.  She 
   1.207 +couldn't believe what ChibiUsa had just done.
   1.208 +
   1.209 +        Hotaru stood there confused and silent.  Not knowing what to do she 
   1.210 +ran home.  ChibiUsa knew that she had messed up, she knew that the next move 
   1.211 +would be up to Hotaru.  She was afraid that she had just ruined thier 
   1.212 +friendship.  When Hotaru got home Haruka and Michiru were waiting for her 
   1.213 +and ChibiUsa.

   1.215 +        "Where's ChibiUsa?" Michiru inquried.
   1.216 +
   1.217 +        "Something came up and she had to go."  Hotaru couldn't tell them 
   1.218 +what had really happened.  As the day went on Hotaru couldn't think about 
   1.219 +anything besides what ChibiUsa had done.  As days passed all Hotaru could 
   1.220 +think about was did she do the right thing.  She thought it over and 
   1.221 +wondered.  She had battles between her feelings and what her brain thought.

   1.225 +        One afternoon ChibiUsa had come by and knocked on the door.  Michiru 
   1.226 +answered and asked her to come in.
   1.227 +
   1.228 +        "That's ok, Michiru, I just came by to drop these off for Hotaru.  
   1.229 +They are her birthday presents from me.  I've been really busy lately and 
   1.230 +haven't had time to drop them off.  Tell her I said hi, ok?"
   1.231 +
   1.232 +        "I'll do that.  Bye-bye ChibiUsa."
   1.233 +
   1.234 +        Hotaru was standing around the corner and had heard everything.  She 
   1.235 +knew that ChibiUsa had to have strong feelings for her then.  That night all 
   1.236 +Hotaru could do was think.  She had to do something and it had to be soon.

   1.240 +        The next morning before school she wrote ChibiUsa a note and dropped 
   1.241 +it off in her locker.  When ChibiUsa went to get her first period book she 
   1.242 +saw the note and read it.

   1.244 +        'The woods by the park?  At 6?' she wondered to herself.  All 
   1.245 +ChibiUsa could think about for the rest of the day was what Hotaru had in 
   1.246 +mind.
   1.247 +
   1.248 +        The day passed and 6:00 arrived pretty quickly.  ChibiUsa ran to the 
   1.249 +spot that Hotaru and mentioned in the note as fast as she could.  When she 
   1.250 +got there she saw that Hotaru had a battery powered radio and she had the cd 
   1.251 +playing that she had given Hotaru for her birthday.

   1.253 +        "ChibiUsa," Hotaru started, "I'm sorry I ran off.  I didn't know 
   1.254 +what to do and I had to think things through.  You had cought me off gaurd 
   1.255 +and I didn't exspect that.  What I'm trying to say is, I'm sorry.  Can you 
   1.256 +forgive me.  I want you to love me and I want to love you."  With that said 
   1.257 +Hotaru started to cry.  ChibiUsa ran up to her and hugged her.
   1.258 +
   1.259 +        "Of course I can forgive you.  I want to love you and have you love 
   1.260 +me too."  Hotaru looked ChibiUsa straight in the eyes.  Thier faces grew 
   1.261 +closer and closer to each other's and they kissed. Thier tongues exploring 
   1.262 +the other's mouth.  They stayed this way for a while.  When the kiss broke, 
   1.263 +Hotaru said, "I love you chibiUsa and I want you to go out with me."  
   1.264 +ChibiUsa looked at Hotaru, smiled and nodded.
