    1.23 +	It was a nice sunny day at the Penguin Park. Sakura and Tomoyo were
    1.24 +having a
    1.25 +small picnic there, seeing that it was a nice day. "Come on come on,
    1.26 +why all
    1.27 +this secrecy?" Sakura asked. "Patience Sakura, you'll know in due
    1.28 +time." Tomoyo
    1.29 +said. She giggled a little saying this. "I wanna know", Sakura said,
    1.30 +"all this
    1.31 +is working on my nerves." "Well, your not gonna until I am ready..."
    1.32 +Tomoyo
    1.33 +said.  Sakura just whined again, whatever it was she needed to know.
    1.34 +Tomoyo,
    1.35 +however, was nervous. She didn't know how to break it to her. Her
    1.36 +one deepest
    1.37 +darkest secret was unable to be said in words. She surprised herself
    1.38 +by even
    1.39 +asking her Angel in Disguise here for a picnic to tell her of her
    1.40 +secret.  She
    1.41 +began to shift uncomfortably, not knowing how to word what she was
    1.42 +going to say
    1.43 +to Sakura. "Are you ready yet?" Sakura asked impatiently. Tomoyo
    1.44 +steeled her
    1.45 +nerves. "What I wanted to say was that I...I..." was all she could
    1.46 +say. "Yeah,
    1.47 +you what?"  Sakura asked. "I...I...I..." Tomoyo stammered out again.
    1.48 +At this
    1.49 +point she just gave up trying to say it.

    1.51 +	Sakura began to  grow even more impatient. "Awww, c'mon on Tomoyo",

    1.53 +,"Tell me... tell me... tell me!!" Tomoyo figeted with her fingers,
    1.54 +then she got
    1.55 +an idea. She'll just let her actions speak louder than her words.
    1.56 +She placed a
    1.57 +small, soft, lingering kiss on Sakura's lips. Sakura had been, more
    1.58 +or less,
    1.59 +surprised and shocked when this happened. Tomoyo leaned back to her
    1.60 +previous
    1.61 +position, pleasantly pleased with her bravery and the effect of the
    1.62 +kiss on
    1.63 +Sakura who was, in effect, in her own world. Although that world had
    1.64 +been shaken
    1.65 +quite strongly. Tomoyo mused herself with how things were going so
    1.66 +far, but now
    1.67 +the task of how to break her love out of the reverie she was in,
    1.68 +though she
    1.69 +wasn't complaining about the small smile that did however grace
    1.70 +Sakura's cute
    1.71 +little lips. "Sakura?" Tomoyo said. "Hoe?" Sakura said snapping out
    1.72 +of her dream
    1.73 +state. "Daijobu desu?" Tomoyo asked. "H-hai..." Sakura stammered.

    1.75 +had her senses back she was quite confused. "Ne, Tomoyo-chan, what

    1.77 +happened?" She asked. "Well, I showed you what I had to say to you
    1.78 +instead of
    1.79 +actually saying it." Tomoyo replied. Sakura started to blush. "I had

    1.81 +felt that strongly for me..." she said just above a whisper. "It is
    1.82 +kinda hard
    1.83 +to believe isn't it?" Tomoyo asked. Sakura didn't answer. She was
    1.84 +still somewhat
    1.85 +in her own world. Her mind would not let her forget this kiss, not
    1.86 +that she
    1.87 +wanted to anyway. "Uh...Tomoyo chan, I think I'll go home it's
    1.88 +getting pretty
    1.89 +late." Sakura said still staring off into space.

    1.91 +	Tomoyo was about to protest but decided against it, there was
    1.92 +something
    1.93 +bothering her. And whatever it was it would,she would know soon
    1.94 +enough. Of that
    1.95 +she was certain. "Okay Sakura", she said, "call me later..." Sakura
    1.96 +just nodded
    1.97 +as she got up and left. 'I hope I didn't do anything wrong' Tomoyo
    1.98 +thought. When
    1.99 +Sakura got home, she wasn't her usual self. she didn't bother to say
   1.100 +hi or I'm
   1.101 +home. She didn't even notice it when Touya called her a kaijuu.
   1.102 +Everyone in the
   1.103 +house just looked on as she truged up the stairs with that spaced
   1.104 +out look on
   1.105 +her face. They looked upstairs, then to each other, then upstairs
   1.106 +again. "What's
   1.107 +up with her?" Touya asked. Sakura's father and Yukito shrugged their
   1.108 +shoulders.
   1.109 +"You got me..." they both answered. Sakura sat on her bed in a
   1.110 +spaced out state,
   1.111 +she had not fully known what happened at the park. Her mind kept
   1.112 +returning to
   1.113 +only one thing. The kiss, simply put, had taken over her mind. She
   1.114 +liked the
   1.115 +feeling her best frtend gave her. Yet it was wrong, she scolded
   1.116 +herself for
   1.117 +this. She was only supposed to like boys, or so she thought. All her
   1.118 +mixed mind
   1.119 +told her now was to go and kiss her friend again and again. And deep
   1.120 +down she
   1.121 +wanted to, that's what scared her the most. There was a slight
   1.122 +knocking at
   1.123 +Sakura's door as Touya was behind it. "Hey kaijuu", he started, "if
   1.124 +you're not
   1.125 +busy then there's a phone call from Tomoyo for you. Sakura's mood
   1.126 +visibly
   1.127 +brightened as she heard her best friend's name being called.

   1.129 +	She jumped up from her bed and happily skipped out of her door.
   1.130 +"Iie, baka, I'm
   1.131 +never to busy to talk to Tomoyo-chan." She said walking down the
   1.132 +hall. "And
   1.133 +while I think about it...I'm not a kaijuu!" she added yelling. 'I
   1.134 +guess she's
   1.135 +back to normal' Touya thought. He shrugged and walked to his room
   1.136 +where Yukito
   1.137 +was was waiting. Sakura got to the phone that was in the hall and
   1.138 +picked it up.
   1.139 +"Moshi moshi?" she answered. "Hi Sakura, this is Tomoyo I was just
   1.140 +calling to
   1.141 +see if you were alright." Tomoyo said. "I'm fine", Sakura stated
   1.142 +cheerfully, "I
   1.143 +just had to think on a few things, or rather should I say one
   1.144 +thing." "And what
   1.145 +was that?" Tomoyo asked. "The kiss you gave me..." Sakura said in a
   1.146 +small
   1.147 +whisper. "Oh that...was just..." Tomoyo tried to explain. "Well,
   1.148 +whatever it
   1.149 +was, I need to talk to you. Meet me in the park in a few, okay?"
   1.150 +Sakura asked.
   1.151 +"Okay..." Tomoyo said. She hung up the phone,got her shoes on, and
   1.152 +told her
   1.153 +mother she was heading out to meet Sakura at the park again. "Don't
   1.154 +stay out to
   1.155 +late..." Sonomi said with a wink. Tomoyo just blushed and nodded.
   1.156 +She made her
   1.157 +way quickly to the park, where the meeting was to take place. She
   1.158 +walked past
   1.159 +the penguin slide to a swingset that Sakura was sitting on. Sakura
   1.160 +looked up as
   1.161 +she heard footsteps approach her. Tomoyo stood there with her
   1.162 +trademark smile,
   1.163 +though there was a bit of uncertainty in her eyes. Sakura promptly
   1.164 +got up and
   1.165 +walked the small distance to Tomoyo.

   1.167 +	They stood there looking at eachother for what seemed like an
   1.168 +eternity, until
   1.169 +Sakura brake the silence. "Kombanwa Tomoyo-chan" she said. Tomoyo
   1.170 +smiled and
   1.171 +bowed politely. "About the kiss, what was it for?" Sakura asked
   1.172 +getting straight
   1.173 +to the point. Tomoyo was shocked she couldn't speak at first, but
   1.174 +she found her
   1.175 +resolve and used it as her leverage. "To tell the truth, Sakura,
   1.176 +it's because
   1.177 +I...I...I..love you" she managed to say. "Hoe?!" Now it was Sakura's
   1.178 +turn to be
   1.179 +surpried. "Yes...you heard right", Tomoyo said, "I love you and I
   1.180 +have loved
   1.181 +ever since when we first met." Sakura just stood there trying her
   1.182 +best to take
   1.183 +this in. Even though it sounded unbelieveable, it would explain why
   1.184 +she was so
   1.185 +happy around her, the fact that she taped her so much, and a list of
   1.186 +other
   1.187 +things the eccentric girl did around her. Then she realized
   1.188 +something, didn't
   1.189 +she like Tomoyo being happy? Wasn't she happy when Tomoyo was happy?
   1.190 +Wasn't she
   1.191 +the one who befriended her to keep in this state of happiness? So
   1.192 +many questions
   1.193 +swam around in her head. Unfamiliar and newly found emotions mixed
   1.194 +with these
   1.195 +questions. But, as she asked the questions over and over to herself,
   1.196 +she could
   1.197 +always answer it with a definate yes. Suddenly, a new question
   1.198 +popped up. Did
   1.199 +she love Tomoyo? The answer, which was yes, was not surprising to
   1.200 +her. It was
   1.201 +there all along, she just had to search her heart for it. Tomoyo
   1.202 +suddenly
   1.203 +stopped in her speech and looked at the spaced out Sakura. "Sakura?"
   1.204 +she asked
   1.205 +snapping her out of her reverie. "Hai?" Sakura asked back giving her
   1.206 +the
   1.207 +brightest smile Tomoyo had ever seen. "Are you okay?" Tomoyo asked
   1.208 +with a bit of
   1.209 +uncertainty in her voice. 
   1.210 +
   1.211 +	Sakura just stepped foward, hugged her, and let out a contented
   1.212 +sigh of relief.
   1.213 +"Hai, I'm perfectly fine now." she stated just above a whisper.
   1.214 +Tomoyo hugged
   1.215 +her back. Sakura gave another sigh and turned her head slightly to
   1.216 +see Tomoyo
   1.217 +looking down at her. She smiled again just before moving in and
   1.218 +copturing
   1.219 +Tomoyo's lips with her own. Tomoyo started to Kiss her back without
   1.220 +hesitation.
   1.221 +They kissed for what seemed like an eternity, until they both broke
   1.222 +for air.
   1.223 +"Aishiteru, Kinomoto Sakura..." Tomoyo said. "Aishiteru, Daidouli
   1.224 +Tomoyo..."
   1.225 +Sakura answered back. "When do you think we should tell everybody?"
   1.226 +Tomoyo
   1.227 +asked. Sakura thought on it. "If they dont already know, I would say
   1.228 +tomorrow...sound good?" she asked. Tomoyo nodded happily and turned
   1.229 +around
   1.230 +headed for her house. "Until tomorrow then, my love." She said
   1.231 +walking away.
   1.232 +"Until then..." Sakura said as she turned and left toward her house.
   1.233 +Each left
   1.234 +with 'unique' images of each other as they walked home. Little did
   1.235 +they know of
   1.236 +the surprise that waited for them tommorrow...
