10 girl's locker room. She said she felt sick. So I did what any decent

12 would do, I helped her to the nurse's office. When we got there she

14 thank you in that sweet voice of hers, and smiled at me. I said
15 nothing more
16 as I left. But I couldn't stop thinking about her.

18 We became so close after that, best friends, and more. I loved to go
19 sleepover at her house because she would always ask to hold hands. I
20 felt
21 safe, lying there with Misao.

23 I noticed how she oftened looked lost at school, the other girls
24 ridiculed
25 her, especially Haida. And she taunted her even more by flirting with
26 Hiroto, the very boy that Misao. . .

28 The boy that Misao had a crush, the boy, not me. It was a bit
29 difficult to
30 face up to this. but I love Misao so much, I'd help her along. I

32 show Hiroto what a great girl she was. But I always held back a

34 because I didn't want to lose my Misao.
