7 This is a Sekkushiaru Roman, which means it is a romance story that contains
8 a lot of adult themes. This is for mature readers only. We don't own any of
9 the characters in this, Toei, Naoko Takeuchi and assorted other people do.
10 This is based on the anime, though the idea that they are a couple was hinted
11 at in the manga. We're trying to make this fit with the anime, so we've tried
12 to work out the ages as well. We're guessing that ChibiUsa and Hotaru were 8
13 when she left during Sailor Stars (if anyone knows how old they really are
14 please tell us). ChibiUsa then spent four years in Crystal Tokyo and came
15 back to the past at the age of 12. Hotaru had reaged to the apperant age of
16 12 during the time that ChibiUsa was gone. Hotaru started to age normally
17 after that. This is a little over three years after Sailor Stars. ChibiUsa &
18 Hotaru are 15. Usagi and the Inner Senshi are 19 (They were 16 at the end of
19 Sailor Stars). Mamoru was about 20 in Sailor Stars, so he is 23 now. Michiru
20 & Haruka are 20 and Setsuna is in her early 20's (it was never explained how
21 old she was in the anime so, if anyone knows her age we would really
22 appreciate any help). If there are any important characters we've missed with
23 their ages, please let us know. This is a Sekkushiaru Roman which means that
24 this is a romantic story that involves adult material. It is a love story
25 between ChibiUsa and Hotaru. It takes place about a year before our story "I
26 Love You, Hotaru". This is our version of Hotaru and ChibiUsa falling in love
27 (that's not entirely true. They've been best friends and very close for a
28 long time, so they fell in love over the years. This story is about them
29 realizing their feelings for each other). This story was inspired by the
30 story "ChibiUsa No Pyua Na Kokoro" by Andrea Doolan. It's a beautiful romance
31 story about ChibiUsa & Hotaru. This story came about because we wanted to try
32 our hand at getting Hotaru and ChibiUsa together, so hopefully we can do them
33 justice. They make such a great couple and we wanted to explore how they might
34 have gotten together in the present day. We write for two reasons. 1 Because
35 we genuinely love to write and 2 we hope that other people enjoy what we
36 write. We love to hear from people and what they thought of our stories or
37 what stories they'd like us to write so we're taking a poll right now.
38 We'd like to know what characters you'd like to see us use in our
39 hentai stories or Sekkushiaru Romans. We'd also like to know who Seiya and
40 Taiki should get with. Any ideas for a Setsuna fic whether a hentai story or
41 a Sekkushiaru Roman? Any ideas for some of the characters we've already
42 written (I.E. the Witches 5, the Amazoness Quartet, the Animamates,

61 "Aren't you a little too old to have a sleep over?" asked Haruka as

64 other's houses since they were little kids. I think its cute that they still
65 do things like that," said Michiru as she stepped outside.
66 "I know, Michiru. I just like to give her a hard time about her little
67 girlfriend," said Haruka. She put her arms around Michiru and the two kissed.
68 "She's not my girlfirend," said Hotaru. "We're just best friends."
69 'Just because they're gay doesn't mean I am. Even though ChibiUsa's nice,
70 my best friend, cheerful, cute, sexy, I love spending time with her......What
71 was I thinking?!' Hotaru shook her head to clear that line of thought.

73 Finally, Michiru and Haruka broke the kiss. "Are you two ready?" asked
74 Setsuna, standing in the doorway.
75 "Ready for what?" replied Haruka.
76 "Michiru and I were going to go see a movie. ChibiUsa and Hotaru are
77 old enough to watch themselves. Do you want to go?" asked Setsuna.
78 "Sure," said Haruka, slightly disappointed. She had wanted to take
79 Michiru out to a nice romantic dinner.
80 "Okay, good. Wait here, I've got to go get my jacket," said Michiru.
81 She kissed Haruka and then walked back inside with Setsuna.
82 "You'll be okay with us gone, right?" asked Haruka.
83 "I'll be fine. I'm 15 years old," said Hotaru.
84 Haruka smiled at the younger girl. "Yeah, you'll be fine. We shouldn't
85 be gone too long anyway."
86 "Oh, good. It's ChibiUsa." Hotaru said as she started to wave to the
87 pink haired girl walking towaards the house. "Hi, ChibiUsa!"
88 "She's cute, isn't she?" asked Haruka.
89 "Yeah, she is," said Hotaru. Hotaru blushed a deep crimson when she
90 realized what she had said. "I mean cute in a friendly way," she said
91 nervously.
92 "Don't worry. I won't tell anybody how you feel about her," Haruka
93 said just as Michiru and Setsuna came out of the house. They waved to Hotaru
94 as they walked towards the car. Hotaru wondered to herself how she felt about
95 ChibiUsa.
96 "Hi, Hotaru. Where are they going?" asked ChibiUsa as she walked up
97 to her best friend and hugged her.
98 "Hi ChibiUsa. They're going to a movie. Let's go upstairs. You can
99 leave your stuff there and then we can decide what to do," said Hotaru. They
100 walked inside. Hotaru grabbed ChibiUsa's hand and the two girls ran upstairs.
101 ChibiUsa had always liked Hotaru's room. It felt so.... romantic. She
102 couldn't really explain it any other way. It was fairly dark even with all of
103 the lamps Hotaru had collected. ChibiUsa set her backpack on the bed and
104 followed Hotaru back downstairs.
105 They talked for hours, enjoying each other's company. They didn't
106 even notice the sky outside darkening as it got later. Both girls heard a
107 small rumbling sound. ChibiUsa blushed. It had been her stomach.
108 Hotaru laughed. "Your hungry, aren't you, ChibiUsa? I hadn't noticed
109 how late it was getting. Michiru-mama, Setsuna-mama, and Haruka-papa will
110 probably be back soon, but we might as well get our own dinner."
111 "That sounds good. I skipped lunch today since Usagi was cooking,"
112 said ChibiUsa as she followed Hotaru into the kitchen. They looked around to
113 find something to eat. They couldn't find anything that looked appetizing.
114 "There's nothing to eat..." said ChibiUsa as she closed the
115 refrigerator.
116 "Don't worry. I'll cook," ChibiUsa looked at Hotaru skeptically. "It's
117 okay. Setsuna-mama taught me how to cook a few things. It shouldn't take too
118 long," finished Hotaru. She told ChibiUsa what she needed and the two girls
119 started looking for the ingredients.

122 "That looks great. Thanks, Hotaru. I was starving," said ChibiUsa as
123 she looked in the oven.
124 Hotaru smiled at ChibiUsa. "I hope you like it," she said as she tried
125 to find glasses for the two of them.
126 "I think it's done," said ChibiUsa. She opened the oven and reached
127 in. ChibiUsa yelled and pulled back her hand.
128 "ChibiUsa!" Hotaru rushed over to her friend. ChibiUsa had tears in
129 her eyes as she held her hand. Hotaru gently held onto ChibiUsa's hand. She
130 had burned herself when she had tried to get their dinner out of the oven.
131 Hotaru concentrated as she held ChibiUsa's hand. The burn started to fade.
132 "How's that, ChibiUsa?"
133 "It still hurts," said ChibiUsa as she tried to flex her hand.
134 "Wait right here," Hotaru ran off. She came back with a first aid kit.
135 She grabbed ChibiUsa's hand again and started to bandage it. "Done," said
136 Hotaru. She looked at ChibiUsa. "You scared me. I hate to see you hurt."
137 ChibiUsa blinked away the tears of pain. She and Hotaru looked into
138 each others eyes. Both girls started to lean closer to each other. Just as
139 they were about to kiss, they heard a door close. They pulled away, neither
140 quite sure about what had been about to happen.
141 "We're home," Setsuna shouted as they walked in the front door. "You
142 two have fun while we were gone?" she asked.
143 "Yeah, we did," said Hotaru. "How was the movie?"
144 "It was great," said Michiru. "It was very romantic."
145 "Next time we'll go watch an action movie. Then I won't have to be
146 reminded of how alone we all are, or in my case, how alone I am. That and the
147 sweet couple here," she said, indicating Haruka and Michiru, "kissing the
148 whole time just helped me realize that it's been a thousand odd years and I
149 still don't have anyone. On that note, I'm going to bed. Good night."
150 Setsuna walked off towards her room. The other girls sweat-dropped.
151 "I hope she's doing okay," said ChibiUsa.
152 "Yeah. That was kind of scary," said Hotaru.
153 "It's late. Maybe you two should go to bed," said Michiru.
154 Hotaru yawned. "Yeah, it is getting late. Come on, ChibiUsa."

158 Both girls washed up and got ready for bed. ChibiUsa was rumaging
159 through her backpack for her night shirt. She glanced to her left and saw
160 Hotaru's clothes on the floor. She looked up and saw Hotaru pulling on her
161 nightie. Her gaze slowly went higher as she looked at her best friend's nude
162 body. The moonlight from the open window splashed across Hotaru's body. She
163 tried to avert her gaze but she was entranced. Hotaru was beautiful. ChibiUsa
164 and Hotaru had changed in front of each other before. Why was this so
165 different?
166 "ChibiUsa, are you okay?" asked Hotaru.
167 "I...I'm fine," said ChibiUsa as she looked away, blushing. She found
168 her night shirt and walked to another room to change. She started to unbutton
169 her blouse when she heard something behind her. She turned around to see that
170 Hotaru had followed her. She was looking at ChibiUsa questioningly.
171 "What are you doing?" asked Hotaru. She was wondering why ChibiUsa
172 had walked off.
173 "I'm just changing," said ChibiUsa defensively. She didn't really
174 have a reason why she had gone to change in another room. She never had
175 before. She decided to change quickly. If she kept trying to get Hotaru out,
176 she might get suspicious. 'Suspicous of what?' thought ChibiUsa. She pulled
177 the half unbuttoned blouse over her head. The shirt got caught when it was
178 around her head. Hotaru giggled lightly as she walked over to help her friend.
179 ChibiUsa turned to face her when she heard her footsteps. "I'm stuck,"
180 she said simply.
181 Hotaru stifled another giggle. "Here, let me help you. It's caught on
182 one of your odango." She brought her hands up and started to unbutton the
183 shirt the rest of the way. She smiled as ChibiUsa's face came into view.
184 ChibiUsa looked emberassed for needing Hotaru to help take her shirt off.
185 "Don't worry, ChibiUsa. When you have an intricate hair style like your
186 odango, something like that's bound to happen sooner or later. You should
187 let your hair down before you go to sleep, anyway."
188 "Do you think so?" asked ChibiUsa.
189 "Of course," said Hotaru. Since she was only slightly taller than
190 ChibiUsa, she stood on her on the tips of her toes and started to undo her
191 odango. She could smell the scent of her hair. After some of the things that
192 had happened that day, just breathing in the scent of ChibiUsa's hair calmed
193 her. Finally she finished and took a step away. "There, done," she said.
194 ChibiUsa looked into a mirror on the wall. Her pink hair cascaded
195 lightly down. It reached just below her bare shoulders. She saw Hotaru behind
196 her in the mirror.
197 "How do I look?" asked ChibiUsa.
198 "Gorgeous," Hotaru murmured more to herself than to ChibiUsa. "You

200 "Thanks, Hotaru," said ChibiUsa. She looked at Hotaru and followed
201 her gaze downward. She saw that she was only wearing her bra and her skirt.

203 night shirt, dressing as quickly as possible. ChibiUsa turned around when she
204 was done, but Hotaru was already gone. She picked up her clothes and walked
205 back to Hotaru's room. Hotaru was on her bed reading. She put her clothes in
206 the backpack.
207 "What are you reading?" asked ChibiUsa.
208 "Some poetry. It's interesting," answered Hotaru. She lifted up the
209 blanket. "You should ge in. It's getting pretty cold tonight." ChibiUsa
210 climbed under the blankets.
211 "Do you still like Helios?" Hotaru asked.
212 "Where'd that come from?" replied ChibiUsa.
213 "I was just wondering," said Hotaru. "It has been seven years since
214 you've seen him."
215 ChibiUsa thought for a moment. "I don't know. Back then I knew I had
216 to protect him. I don't really know if there was anything between us in the
217 first place. And by now he's probably forgotten about me, so I shouldn't
218 worry about it."
219 "How could he forget about you? You're beautiful, charming, sweet..."
220 Hotaru's voice trailed off.
221 "Thanks, but I'm sure Helios didn't think of me like that," said

223 "If he didn't see you like that, then he must not have known you very

226 over and looked at ChibiUsa. Hotaru smiled lightly. ChibiUsa had fallen asleep
227 while they had been talking. Hotaru pulled the blanket up higher on ChibiUsa.

231 Sunlight filtered in through the window onto the two sleeping girls.

269 spoken out loud. Hotaru stood in the doorway, stunned by what she had heard.

271 "Hotaru?" ChibiUsa looked at Hotaru. Hotaru sat by ChibiUsa. She
272 gently laid her hand upon ChibiUsa's.
273 "ChibiUsa, you've been there for me when no one else was. You were
274 there for me whenever I needed you. You cared when no one else did. We've
275 been friends for a long time now, but during that time I coudn't help but fall
276 in love with you," Hotaru's voice was heavy with emotion. Tears were running

278 "Hotaru," ChibiUsa grabbed the other girl and pulled her into an
279 embrace. "I hadn't realized how important you were to me before today. I
280 remember the hardest part of going back to the future was that I thought I'd

383 "Okay, that sounds good," said ChibiUsa. She kissed Hotaru lightly
384 on the lips before walking toward the bathroom. Hotaru changed her sheets and
385 packed ChibiUsa's clothes in her backpack. By the time she got to the
386 bathroom, ChibiUsa was already in the shower. Hotaru came up behind ChibiUsa
387 and put her arms around her waist. ChibiUsa was a bit startled, but relaxed
388 into the embrace.
389 "How did I never notice how beautiful you are?" asked ChibiUsa as
390 Hotaru stepped under the shower head.
391 Hotaru smiled. "Thanks, ChibiUsa. I've had strong feelings for you
392 for a long time now. I just never expressed it as love. I always thought of
393 it as friendship. I thought you were cute since the first time we met."
394 "When we met, you were twelve and I was eight," said ChibiUsa.
395 "You were a very cute little girl, then," said Hotaru. She got a
396 wistful look in her eyes. "What a romantic way to meet. I managed to catch
397 your hat before it flew away and you saved me from a daemon. Too bad it took
398 years for anything to happen."
399 "Yeah, but we were really young back then. It had to take years for
400 us both to grow up," said ChibiUsa.
401 "I know," said Hotaru. "I just wonder why it took us both so long to
402 realise anything. We've been best friends for over three years."
403 "Actually, I was wondering about that," said ChibiUsa. "From some of
404 the things you said a while ago I was wondering how you felt about me. I'd
405 only think about it for a couple seconds before getting rid of the idea, but
406 now it makes more since."
407 Hotaru looked puzzled. "What did I say?"
408 ChibiUsa blushed. "Well, one time you and I were walking to school
409 and Usagi showed up. We were holding hands at the time and she said she
410 thought that we were getting a little to friendly. You replied by saying that
411 it's okay to hold hands and didn't she and Mamoru hold hands."
412 "Ohhh, yeah, that." Hotaru smiled at ChibiUsa. "I guess I always knew
413 I loved you, if only on a subconscious level."
414 "And the time you were calling my friends Ruruna and Naruru bimbos
415 when they said I was their best friend," continued ChibiUsa.
416 "I got really attached to you. You were my first and best friend. And
417 they were bimbos," said Hotaru.
418 "And the time you and I danced together at Usagi and Mamoru's
419 wedding," ChibiUsa smiled at the memory.
420 "Well, at the time, I thought it was just because there weren't many
421 boys there and none of them had asked us, but looking back on it, I did want
422 to dance with you that day," replied Hotaru.
423 ChibiUsa hugged her. "Oh, good. I liked dancing with you, too,
424 Hotaru."
425 They lathered each other up and washed off together. Hotaru grabbed a towel
426 when they got out of the shower and started to dry ChibiUsa off. ChibiUsa
427 dried Hotaru when she was finished. The girls walked out of the bathroom
428 holding hands. They went back to Hotaru's room and helped each other get
429 dressed. They sat on the bed in silence for a while.
430 "I'm kind of worried," ChibiUsa said suddenly.
431 "What about?" asked Hotaru.
432 "Just different things. First, how are we going to tell everyone. I
433 want to tell my mom and dad, but I don't really think about Usagi and Mamoru
434 as my parents yet. Another is that I'm from the future. I haven't even been
435 born yet. And last, I'm the princess of Crystal Tokyo. After I take over, I
436 have to have an heir," said ChibiUsa.
437 Hotaru held ChibiUsa in her arms. "Whatever happens, we'll be
438 together. I love you. You're all that matters to me. Things will work out.
439 And I'll be there with you no matter what happens."
440 Both girls leaned into a passionate kiss, holding each other and
441 wishing the moment would never end.
