rlm@26: Judy Yates was a coworker of mine and
rlm@26: had brought some wildlife pictures to work. I was very impressed with
rlm@26: the work; at that time I had a picture of a wolf and I asked Judy if
rlm@26: she could paint it for me. The work was stunning — it matched
rlm@26: the picture perfectly! I felt that if I reached out and touched the
rlm@26: painting, I would be touching actual fur. There are times that I
rlm@26: almost feel like I'm looking at a real wolf! What impresses me most
rlm@26: is the level of personal expression in the work. It is fantastic. I
rlm@26: would definitely have Judy paint something for me
rlm@26: again.

rlm@26: When I tell people about her paintings I tell them that they're very
rlm@26: detailed and lifelike and that she always paints exactly from the
rlm@26: pictures. I like the fact that she works with you to make it look
rlm@26: exactly like it should. If you don't like it, she fixes it —
rlm@26: like that. She made tombstones for our family pets which were very
rlm@26: tasteful.

rlm@26: like they're just gonna come leaping off the marble! Everyone who
rlm@26: comes into the house just loves it!
