4 I painted my first pet portrait in 1979. The painting was of my dog "Yates" who was a Great Dane. This was an 11" X 14" oval canvas oil painting. Shortly afterwards whenever friends would come to visit they would notice the painting hanging in my living room and comment. When they noticed my named signed to the painting they generally questioned as to whether I might paint their pets. As a result, my career as a pet artist came to be. I have painted thousands of pets since then. You might notice that my paintings are usually better than the photos I am working from. If you decide to have your much loved pet painted, please give me a call or email me to discuss the details. You do not have to have one perfect picture to work from as I can incorporate several into one. I look forward to hearing from you and thank you for your interest in my work.
