4 I had an outlet that wanted a painting of a brown trout. I was going through my marble collection, looking for the ideal marble, and even though I had never used that particular type of granite for a water background, I am very pleased with the final result and will probably paint more fish on this type of rock. The actual painting has iridescent paint which closely resembles the fish's natural coloring. -Judy Yates
